He also just did a little interview on Konbini and said BTD is an album hello could listen to all day night, and it has beautiful memories of him and Lana. It has a dark energy which sort of sounds like an underwater whirlpool that will trap you if you get to close. I like that the sound is a little more reserved too. Hearing that he would do a full solo-album after all these years again was a big highlight. While it's not as "tribal" and orchestral as The Golden Age it's equally great in all it's composition, execution and production. I love the more electronic/ trip-hop influenced sound, the industrial vibe and aesthetics and it's great to hear how he progressed as a vocalist aswell. Another thing I really like is how he is obviously writing out of a gay man's perspective, yet he does not reduce himself to that aspect like other gay artists tend to this.
