Ok just finished listening to the new album. And i guess I was right. Like « cowboy » sounds like an LFL outtake and « you said you were sorry » ‘s outro sounds just like Summertime Sadness’s intro and it seems like there’s also BTD’s shouting man. Yall should at least listen to these two and listen to the rest if you can (because these aren’t even my fav). Anyway, 10000000/10, AOTY, BEST ALBUM EVER (excluding Lanas discog) and voila

the new album is really good! lots of artistic breakthroughs happening for her here… dare I say her best album? combines some of the things I loved about her old discography/droplets eras with the things I loved about rare (deluxe too, like souvenir !!!) and revelación, but also does some new thingsssssss. some of her best sounds & lyrics here imo

This album is a lot better than I thought it would be based off the singles. Bluest Flame is a standout (Selena should buy more of Charli’s demos lol). 
 

The only real skips are the singles she chose to release 💀

I haven't listened to the new album, but I have seen people hating it on social media. I don't really listen to her music that much but Fetish is my favorite song from her discography, so those who have listened, are there any songs like Fetish on the new album?

From what I've heard no. But the track younger and hotter then me kinda reminds me of Paris Texas sonically

The album is chill. It’s nice to hear her singing voice again and to me she never sounded better vocally. The music itself reminds me a lot of Taylor and especially Lana.

Don't care for her music at all now (those bangers back in the 2010s hit) but I was like why not just listen to the album.

1. Ojos Tristes (8.5/10) - I love The Marías, and I love Josh on production, best song off the album for me; I added it

2. Cowboy (8/10) - Wasn't expecting this vibe from her, too horny of a song for me but I realize it's a really good song so that's why its second for me; the outro was unnecessary though

3. Bluest Flame (8/10) - This sounds like a Charli song, and I love it! Love the fact that Charli wrote the song too, I can feel her energy; I added it

4. I Can't Get Enough (8/10) - Never heard this song before, but I really like it; I added it

5. Don't Wanna Cry (8/10) - Like... now why am I dancing on this album ; I added it

6. Call Me When You Break Up (7.9/10) - I don't like Gracie Abrams and YES, I have listened to her music before so I'm not blind hating, but honestly this song wasn't bad; I added it

7. You Said You Were Sorry (7.6/10) - This sounds like a mix of Lana, FKA Twigs, and Camilla Cabello... DON'T ask me why it just does, not a bad song; I added it

8. Don't Take It Personally (7.6/10) - I like the melody but don't care for the song to be honest

9. How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten (7.5/10) - Mm anyway! Don't relate to this to be honest but yeah, I understand the message

10. Younger And Hotter Than Me (7/10) - Don't care for the message, but not a bad song, just one I wouldn't listen to again

11. Sunset Blvd (6/10) - Yeah no, keep this locked away

12. Scared Of Loving You (5/10) - Not bad, but too short for me to like, and I don't care for the production or melody

13. Do You Wanna Be Perfect (4/10) - Cool concept, it's an interlude

14. I Said I Love You First (1/10) - I don't care I'M SORRY SELENA FANS DON'T COME FOR ME PLEASE, BUT I JS EHH 

Overall, not a bad album to be honest! For my first Selena Gomez album listen. I don't mind checking out future projects from her! I'm glad she's doing really well mentally and medically; hope she stays strong. I liked six songs off of this project. Will it be a project I come back to? No. But I got my moments from it which I will enjoy!!

I luvvv cowboy & ojos tristes. I’ve enjoyed a few of her songs before but this album is very sonically interesting and definitely a new creative spark I haven’t heard from her before

Like it’s okay to not like something but the way he speaks so objectively and like if he has some kind of authority, and if you disagree with him he claps back like Gabbie Hanna 

I agree with him most of the time tho, but when he misses, he gets oddly defensive about it
