Purify 427 Posted August 8, 2015 theycallmecash: I feel like it's a strong throwback to Born To Die-esque type of Lana. It's a solid midtempo, NOT an uptempo. The trap element is incredibly subdued. Her airy vocals are front and center and the song basically is a lament AND a kiss-off to an ex-lover, crafted incredibly well. Basically Lana wants to forget this lover and do her own thing: by getting high by the beach. It reminds me personally of Blue Jeans or West Coast.
