I thought she was referencing plastic pink flamingos as well but now that you mention it she could be referencing the movie, I mean she name drops streets, singers and even popular songs, why wouldn't she incorporate a movie?

Plus the neon sign title seems to go with that reference... might be reaching tho

 

EDIT. Now that I think of it, it'd be kinda weird to feel 'fascination' towards a plastic garden ornament but if it's the movie then it makes a little bit more sense... just a thought

I've read a lot about it but haven't actually seen it, YES I know it's really fucked up but idk maybe she liked the idea or overall aesthetic of the movie.

I've listened to it a couple of times now, but to me, it's her weakest song so far.

Maybe it will grow on me when the album (hopefully with a lyric booklet again) and video come out...

The first 30 seconds got me so hyped up, it's ~celestial perfection~ the reverb, the soft synth..I thought she was gonna do something experimental and electronic, but then the beat dropped. The rest of the song will probably grow on me, but compared to the intro it's bland.
