Honestly, as a lurker, I remember how positively overwhelmed people were when Ocean Blvd title track and A&W dropped. Similar like here how people called it "one of her top best songs since x era" and "career highlights".

I’m having trouble wording this, but there’s beauty in the way that this song was released. It started off as an almost misleading snippet that was a bit divisive.
 

And now we will finally have Henry, with 5 stars across the board.

I'm straight up getting teary-eyed, I was NOT excited for this song at all based on the snippets and the whole vibe she's been describing plus the insider rumors. As soon as I hit play I was sat, then that pre-chorus kicked in (yes Wrecking Ball moment)... and WE HAVE A BRIDGE hallelujah  

I've already listened to it 10 times, please god let the rest of the album be this good or better

but this is what she did with let me love you. dropped it locally at midnight and posted about it at like 4pm Thursday when more than half the world had already heard it

 

let's just hope there isn't a 6 month wait this time!

meant the production of the title track.  I know Lana used a lot of strings in her earlier eras but I think Drew Ericksons string production is completelyyyyy different than Dan Heaths. Personally i'm not a huge fan of Drew Ericksons strings as they sound kind of cheap compared to Lanas old stuff. 

 

Completely with you on Drew. He does nothing for me. But I think his strings here sound fantastic, and they sure did on OB. Are they on Craig Armstrong level (Young and Beautiful)? Nope. But that's a very high bar to reach.

You mean 6 months between the first single and the rest of the album?

 

I don't think this album is coming out in May. I mean, May is like 20 days away, and we just got the first single.

 

Maybe it's not 6+ months away, but it's not dropping before June/July,I should think.
