Honestly, if this is what these fuck ass insiders shitting on then I AM ALL IN FOR THE JOYRIDE LMAOOO. Because this is even more than what I expected for Henry. This song for me - once again cements the fact that Lana IS NO PREDICTABLE WHEN IT COMES TO HER ARTISTRY. I literally never can be able to tell where she takes me next with every of her move. At her 10th (possibly 11th), Lana still surprises me.

 

I thought country is never gonna be for me but Lana proved me otherwise. This is the kind of country that Lana has so much potential to reinvent and redefine with her Legacy and "The right person will stay" is exactly THAT. That is why i fuck with her so much even after all these years.

Yeah so this is her best song since a&w IMO. First play was pretty and I was in shock so couldn’t absorb what was happening, second and third amazing , now it’s like really clicked and I’m speecless.

So true. I cannot believe this is her tenth record in a relatively short amount of time, and then she still has the inspiration and drive to create something so beautiful. And, again, not pandering to the masses, not shaking her ass, not chasing charts or the trend. Just producing MUSIC to the best of her abilities.

 

Honestly, I feel like I'm already fed in this era. I got Henry, I got Tough. I'm done! My Best of Lana playlist is topped up, like it was with OB and A&W. If I get Prettiest Girl in Country Music or Fenway or both, I will be sorted for life. She doesn't even need to make another record. 

 

Not to mention that thematically she's resonating with me again. People leaving, some staying, getting married. This is my vibe this year. (My wedding's in 3 months)

Ah, man, they give such high praise so rarely. They only gave it to NFR and OB. Most other artists like Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus don't have a single Best New Music. Not even Billie Eilish. The highest she's got is 7.6.

 

But then, the album has been two years in the making so who knows.

I actually really like this LMAO idk I had this perception that I was going to hate it but I actually like it a lot. Its not a jaw dropping highlight by any means but its a really easy listen, very smooth. It falls in line with LTLI and IYLDWM, I can hear a bit of brooklyn baby as well....this doesn't really restore any faith for the album  But already I like it better than COCC. If the strings and additional production is what Lana had been working on for the past year and a half then I think its worth it. Just cut the Jack tracks and we have a salvageable album!
