if anyone’s interested in backstory I saw a girl on TikTok claiming Lana stayed 17 months ago at her western themed hotel in Nashville and that’s where she got inspired to write the song

LOVE LOVE how she said she wanted a little bit of Disney on the strings, I can definitely hear it after the second chorus; it reminds me of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast mostly the richness and how the strings rise, like I can imagine that part playing in the scene Belle is dancing with the Beast and it wouldn’t sound out of place. It’s not the first Disney reference I noticed in Lana’s songs as the intro to “Bel Air” reminds me of “Part of Your World”. Can definitely hear the Glen Campbell influence as well. It’s *chef’s kiss*.

I'm glad she found it interesting and took it as inspiration. I don't know if it was intentional, but I always remember Disney in the part of Sweet "What You Don't Really Understand...", it's like Disney's own vignette with the star flying over the castle.

Now that you mention it, yes! Love all the hidden details in her songs. I always discover something new.

So if you don't know, don't give up , 'Cause you never know what the new day might bring
