Pink Champagne Posted Friday at 03:59 PM Posted Friday at 03:59 PM Has anyone mentioned that the start of ”And it’s not because of you that I turned out so dangerous.” sounds ever so slightly like ”and my boyfriend’s in a band. He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed.” 15 Quote I don’t really wanna die, I just want the pain to be over

Burthdaykake Posted Friday at 04:06 PM Posted Friday at 04:06 PM I just listened to Henry and all I can say is that the whole song sounds like a breath of fresh air!! I usually want my first listens to be special, so I try to find the right moment to experience them in a nice way, and I’m glad I did it now because it’s such a beautiful sunny day and it’s just perfect. I love how the song turned out to be something completely different from what everyone was expecting and it’s so sweet that most fans welcomed it in such a positive way; I feel like this era will be a pretty one, not only about the music, but also about the reception of fans and the media. Lana seems happy with her new lifestyle and I’m glad she’s sharing a bit of this feeling with us! Btw have you noticed she’s smiling while singing in some parts? Especially the bridge? My heart is warm!!! 20 Quote “People change. It's the most importantly remind yourself that just because everybody else changes doesn't mean that you have to - at least not for the worse and not for attention. Change for the better. Try and get your message out, try and find what you love to do. If this is what's important to you then it'll be part of the path that leads you to something even more fun and meaningful down the line.” - LDR
Get Drunk Posted Friday at 04:06 PM Posted Friday at 04:06 PM Wasn’t entirely gagged on the first few listens.. listened again and kind of settled that it was cute and lovely but no wow factor. Then I drove home in the sun with my windows down and the song on full blast.. it finally clicked. This song is as gorgeous as they come 19 Quote

jakoblvd Posted Friday at 04:17 PM Posted Friday at 04:17 PM I think Henry is far from boring. This might become one of my favourite Lana song. Also, didn’t some insider say this was like choosing Change as a single? 16 Quote
Crimson and Clover Posted Friday at 04:19 PM Posted Friday at 04:19 PM I’m sorry but I’m just not the biggest fan of the strings they’re obviously very nice and lush but sound a bit out of place imo (like they recorded the strings section separately from her vocals with the guitar and just added them in). However I LOVE the twangy slide guitar. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I would have actually would have really liked to hear one more similar to the version she posted that sounded more guitar focused 3 Quote
Dark Angel Posted Friday at 04:20 PM Posted Friday at 04:20 PM ATP if you really hate the song so much maybe just do something else instead of arguing with people about it when the song just came out and literally everyone else is hyped about it nothing productive is going to come out of it 10 Quote

dexter Posted Friday at 04:25 PM Posted Friday at 04:25 PM I think we need to give Laura Sisk an apology she gets blamed for everything. Laura sisk was saved from catching strays by not working on this song all hate gets linked backed to her for no reason 3 Quote
