i'm actually lowkey ready for the album now. i've been for a year but now that we've had a taste of the album with henry, i NEED to know what's on the rest of it. and i hope henry isn't the longest song on it. it doesn't even feel like a full 5 minutes

It has the potential to be the most classic. Just because of the Americana/country genre itself. It's kind of like her home turf, so my expectations are now high. 

 

If we get a Chemtrails Volume 2 with languid songs, beautiful melodies, lush production, plenty of violins and cowboy/Americana/moonshine/diner references, I will legit DIE.

she indeed reworked the album and it's not as country as it originally was (like she said the last time she talked about it) cause she wrote this one when she was full on country mode and other than some lyrics and the guitar of the first half... it ended up being more standard Lana / folky than country.

 

I feel like we're getting something similar as Ocean Blvd with slower tracks (acoustic and/or orchestral) and a couple of more upbeat songs.

The main difference is probably going to be the lyrical content.
