I'm sorry but this makes me laugh. It is so Lana! A great shot. Looks like a picture of some kids in high school. I'd feel much more comfortable standing next to Lana.

I haven't done a cartwheel since I was nine. Such a simple but profound sentence. I am in my late 60's and this doesn't make me sad or melancholy. Just makes me think and reflect. One sentence. That is why she deserved to win.

I agree. I think Taylor gets more out of it than Lana. ALERT! I am projecting and this may have nothing to do with reality. Lana seems to have more of a personal life. Grounded with some close friends and family. Taylor does not come off as conceited or arrogant but it seems like her every waking moment is to support the idea, "I am TAYLOR SWIFT ". To have a genuine close friend like Lana must be special to her. Hope that makes sense.

Well said. She may have been disappointed but you're right about how people (myself included) squint and project what she is thinking or feeling when we really have no idea.

The only reason I want Lana to win a Grammy is for herself. Acknowledgement from the music industry is important to her. I don't need acknowledgement from the Gammys or anyone else to validate my love and appreciation for her. On another note Taylor Swift's OMG moments when winning something is a bit much. I bet when she gets a spam email from Walmart saying, "Congratulations you've just won a gift card ", she puts her hands to her mouth, "Me? I can't believe it. I'm not deserving ".

Interesting Twitter backlash against Taylor. I didn't notice at the time but she really unintentionally disrespected Celine Dion. She just took the award and didn't acknowledge her at all. This fire's just starting to burn.

I had a dream last night that I was watching TV and a commercial came on. The background music sounded familiar and then I recognized it as, "Never Let Me Go". No vocal except at the end. It turns out I was watching a video tape in a VCR (Google it). I then tried to rewind it so I could watch and take a video with my phone to post on here. It turned in to one of those frustrating dreams where I could never find where it was on the tape. There were also some people who kept walking in front of the TV. It was pretty vivid. I was in Walmart and this played in the store.

I just heard it! I really love it. This song has a melody, chorus etc so right away I'm on board. A lot of Lana songs it is her singing over piano chords and then a "song" is created in production. I don't know if that makes sense. I LOVE her voice but occasionally I want a song with a simple, memorable melody that keeps moving forward. I really love the backing chorus at the end. John Denver was a gifted singer and songwriter. I think he's smiling now.
