  1. My life, Last year I was at the motor vehicle department getting new plates for my car. I sat down for a 45 min wait. Who walks in and sits next to me? A guy I know who talks a lot. I wasn't in the mood. Other people, Bump in to Lana Del Rey πŸ˜ͺ
  2. Great pic of Lana and Mason. https://x.com/Bob_Turn/status/1805632913263759588?t=CZzI_fT5L1mwivmf32zpLw&s=19
  3. I did it on X. https://x.com/Bob_Turn/status/1805404792061149227?t=mv8uTIeomxcvI2IEFWTnPQ&s=19
  4. If you look closely her earpiece has a cord that goes to probably a wireless box above her right hip. The box is in its own little red dress. Someone can probably zoom in on a pic and post.
  5. Slightly off topic. I was searching for some Fenway videos and this popped up. It's a little Lana parody short from February. Funny.
  6. One high note of this experience was when we got back to our seats the weather was fantastic. I even mentioned to the guy sitting next to me that after the rain all the humidity was gone and the temperature was perfect!
  7. Yes! Thanks. I was on the right stairway coming back in. At the time I was just focused on getting back to my seat. Watching this gives me a little PTSD. πŸ˜€
  8. I don't have tiktok installed so I can't watch it. 😑 Sometimes I can see them without it.
  9. Lana could go to the moon and there'd be some crazed fan singing Happy Birthday. 😊
  10. Video of Scottie Scheffler's father handing out water to fans at tournament in Connecticut where it is also blazing hot. (Scottie is the #1 golfer in the world) Fenway take notice. https://x.com/PGATOUR/status/1804234582578823401?t=TcTG0K3Xb1QHwXqR5wY7Rw&s=19
  11. I got one of these yesterday. I didn't click the links not being sure of the source. I have ordered from the store in the past but don't recall giving them my number. At the show I took some pictures of the stage and there was a huge banner with a bar code thing. My phone picked that up but I was able to cancel before going to a link. I just wanted a picture.
  12. Maybe tomorrow Lana and Hootie can collaborate. Lana and the Blowfish https://x.com/dualsevx/status/1804290353622589746?t=hg_WOti9XUcX60T_EotSJQ&s=19
  13. TMZ just mentioned the show last night. Nothing about the delay just about duet with Mason. Whatever works.
  14. On a lighter note. When I got back to my seat as I was sitting down a woman standing in front of me said, " Nooo." The seats are slightly shaped and after the rain they are not just wet there is a pool of water in the seat. I could only laugh as this is all part of the package. Every other person that came back I warned them to clear their seat first. Just doing my part.
  15. I am home safe and it is morning. I will share my experience of my Twilight Zone to Hell show! (Don't worry, I enjoyed the show but had a number of setbacks) I had seen Lana in Boston 10 years ago at the House of Blues which is right across from Fenway. That show was very draining! Waiting on line all day and then being on the floor for hours standing in the same spot battling with other rabid fans I said I am too old to see her without a seat. (I was in my late 50's then, late 60's now) Fast forward to yesterday. I had a Turf seat in section B4. Everything was great until the weather delay. We were all herded inside and everyone standing around on top of each other I thought I am in hell. I already went through this 10 years ago! I think we were in there for 30 minutes but the show must go on. The show was great but obviously condensed. Lana looked fantastic! The audience sang a lot and sometimes it was hard to hear her vocals. She sat for There's a Tunnel and her voice was exceptional. I was unfamiliar with all the guests but what outstanding voices. Quavo and Lana had quite the presence. The audience response was great for the whole show but there was clearly fatigue. When the show ended with Video Games Lana walked down to the pit lots of people were getting up to leave. Just tired. She kind of hung around the stage and we sang Happy Birthday which she seemed genuinely moved by. There is more I could say about the show but for now overall it was great. So the show was over and I made it back to my car. Unfortunately it was so close to Fenway that traffic didn't move at all. It took me 50 minutes just to get out of the garage! Unbelievable. Then I was using Waze to get me back to the highway. I screwed up and made a left before I was supposed and got routed right back to Fenway. Suddenly I was back in heavy traffic and on my left was Fenway and the exit I had come out of. I almost had a breakdown. I am going to be sucked back to fucking Fenway for eternity driving round and round. I made a right turn and was right back to the parking garage I just left. That whole round trip was only 10 minutes but mentally I was losing it. It was now after 1:00 am. I paid more attention to Waze and made it home safe and sound. I feel for those in the pit who may have lost spots. Glad we all survived.
  16. That sucks. I was there and as we were exiting for lightning we saw the pit being cleared. Someone commented about getting your spots back. Yes the rain was freezing. I wasn't in it that long but quite a shock to the system.
  17. I just got out. About to go to my car. All things considered a great show. Probably cut short but the crowd and her maintained energy. I'll post more tomorrow if I ever wake up. We sung Happy Birthday to her before she left. Very sweet.
  18. I finally got a signal. Still waiting. This is as close to hell as I've ever been. I know I'm not alone.
  19. I'm in my seat. Plenty of room with the turf seats. The sun just fell below my section. Breezy and noticeably cooler. Yay.
  20. Seeing lots of heart shaped sunglasses but no flower crowns. A few flowers in hair but that’s it. I like flower crowns.
  21. On line to get in. On the sidewalk. πŸ˜‚ https://x.com/Bob_Turn/status/1803904503315390710?t=X1fVUxxnGQ0MoDoVodi5RA&s=19
  22. I'm leaving shortly for Boston. An hour to an hour and a half from where I live. Getting there and parking is a nightmare but I'll survive. I saw her 10 years ago at the House of Blues which is across the street from Fenway. You've come a long way baby! I may post once I'm down there. I am most excited for the crowd, the reception. This is a Lana show not a festival. The reception should be incredible. Be safe everyone and enjoy. I love you, I really do.
