I never thought about extensions before tbh lol...I don't know anyone who uses them and I never got them. How they get attached? Is real hair or synthetic hair?How do you brush your hair with the extensions glued or attached? How do you take care of them? So many questions. If I ever get extensions I would go with synthetic hair if such thing exists. I mean I would feel pretty weird walking around with somene eles's hair.

Totally agree with you. Eve if westbound is a made up name doesn't really matters since the connections you did with Dark Paradise and Gangsta Boy pretty much links the songs into Lana's lost love theme. Lost love has several meanings anyway. Can be also the love a person had for you. When someone that loves you die you crave that lost love, the touch, the words, the person and the love you had for them and they had for you. Even if you believe in after life and have faith is impossible not to crave touch because nothing compares to the "real thing". I think she talks to him as a therapy. Some therapies suggest talking to people you lost, write letters and such as a way to cope with the pain.

I love his videos. He creates amazing and different visuals. I think he uses a lot of stage theater elements and fashion elements. I love Run Boy Run. The visuals, the samba beats, the black dust, the monster and that little boy. Like a fairytale that is a bad dream but visually beautiful. To be fair neither of them are Iconic. I mean Adele is 24 and Gaga 26 (?). I think to call someone Iconic in the beggining of their careers is nonsense. Lets all make a reunion in 30 years and see what happened. Madonna is iconic, Elvis, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Stvevie Wonder, Audrey Hepburn. Old folks some are dead some over their 50's and rocking all over. An Icon goes through generations I guess. Adele is not just amazing vocallyn speaking. She is visceral, she makes you feel her emotion. That is a rare gift. Adele is a raw and rare talent. Not iconic I think but a extraordinary talent with great potencial to be iconic. Adele has a huge fan base. Her fan base goes from kids to grandparents. They are music fans obsssessed with her music not her dresses, her hair style. They like her and her songs. That is what music is about right? Pop music is for the show is different. Is like saying Aretha Franklin or Etta James are less iconic than Madonna. Both are important Icons for different reasons. My grandparents listen to Aretha, my parents do and I do. My kids also will. That is Adele's future if she continues the same path. Gaga has to eat a lot of grass to one day be fairly compared to Madonna. Time will tell. Gaga is a good performer, with a few catchy songs, good pianist, with some vocal abilities. I am not a Gaga fan but I give her 2 good qualities: 1) She understands music.Her music doesn't speak to me but is refreshing to see someone that at least is a musician. I like Rihanna's music better (shit person hot music tbh) but she doesn't have half of Gaga's music knowledge. IMO Ke$ha and Pink have better songs of them all but that is just me. 2) Gaga is not lazy. Her performances make me laugh tbh but if you like her I give you that she really works hard on her presentations. Tours a lot and is not lazy tour with half acts. Always brings her complete act even to small cities. She is a bitch but at least is a hard working bitch that doesn't make your ears bleed when she plays the piano. I would be really pissed too. Most concerts I've got too last from 1:45min to 2:20 min. Usually a band opens for the main act. In festivals the sets are usually 1 hour. TBH I am starting to think Lana is damm lazy and doesnt really like hard work. In another words : she doesn't like to rehearse. Can you think in another possible option? She has almost 200 songs. Two albuns out (apparently she doesn't counts AKA and Sirens so lets count only BTD and Paradise) and keeps singing the same 5 songs making people who payed to watch her concert have a 30/45 minutes show. To me as much as she is a kind and a lovely person I would think that such thing is disrespectful to her audience and very unprofessional. I remember watching her say when she sang a different song (I think was DMD) and she never did the song live "If you criticize me I will kill you". I thought was funny and cute but know I think she really means that. The same god dam songs are the easy, boring, safe way to go. She has for sure more than 120 songssssssssss. Great songsssssssss. I never said tho Marina wasn't a good song writer or her songs were not well writin. I do agree she is better than most pop artists. But I think we both would agree that such thing doesn't mean much since most pop songs these days are souless. I wouldn't choose MOST of the lyrics you did as Marinas best moments. But I do think when she is good she is really good. I love Mowgli's road, Obssession, Numb, Hollywood, Teen Idle, Lies. When I say her songs are not remarkeble I was going for memorable, that could stand in time. I say that not because I am pretencious or think every artist should be in the top 40. Nothing like that. I just think Marina's voice is fucking awsome. Tone, range, unique, she is a great singer. Better than most pop artists hell better singer than most artists of all styles. A song has to have a plot point like a movie. A punch line, a moment, That is what I meant her songs are not memorable. They will fade with time. Maybe if she wasn't such a good performer and her voice wasn't so amazing we wouldn't even be having this conversation because IMO only song writing wouldn't make her be successful. Maybe co write some songs, and a producer that could take out of her the best of her would give her the attention she deserves. All that of course is just my opinion and I do understand your points and think they are valiable I just don't think many think like you which is a shame. She is hard working and a great musician. I miss that in music. I hate lazy people and lazy artists that don't give themselves the trouble to learn nothing about music. I love that Marina is not only a performer but also a musician. And I feel sorry when I see an artist like her don't getting the attention they deserve speacilly when the problem is a easy fix. Charisma, talent, voice, performance, skills she has it all. Maybe a different MKT strategy, songs and a producer would make her go to different places. But I can't know if what I am saying is right or wrong since is a hard thing to understand why some get there and others don't. Maybe luck is a true definitive factor. In another note....do you really think EH is that different from TFJ?? I don't see them as very different. I see that both albuns are different versions of the same artist. She has lots of fan clubs, twitter and FB fans account and several fan sites. Her fan base is huge tbh. She has millions of followers on twitter but she barely uses it. She has tons of fans here at least because all the sites I look at are with thousands of users. The thing is her fan sites are more linked directly to facebook and twitter don't have a board I guess at least not that I know of.
