this is not the case, i have never in my life seen music be released at 12am PST no matter the artist’s time zone. besides Taylor with her surprise deluxe edition who the entire industry revolves around. there isn’t anything coming tonight 😭 the biggest industry issue with that is playlisting, the music week ends at 12am EST. lana wouldn’t get on New Music Friday, Release Radar, etc etc until next Friday if she dropped music after 12am EST, interscope wouldn’t let that happen. there is no good reason at all to wait 3 hours. at least when artists release on Monday-Thursday it makes it more seen because it’s not dropping with everything else

i do think taylor is the ultimate example of capitalism and as much as i love her it’s hard to not feel grossed out by some of the marketing tactics she uses, she definitely scams her fans time to time but the intention of her re-recordings in general are not a scam actually u know what… i’m just gonna keep my mouth shut a&w coming soon!

i don’t know if she’s announcing SNTV tonight but i do have a feeling regardless it will be coming out in March because she hinted at it coming soon and her tour starts in April and goes until the end of the year, and i can’t see her releasing anything during tour but also i don’t see her waiting all the way until after tour to release anything either watch Ocean Blvd and SNTV come out on the same day

really omg i can’t think of a single instance where this has happened before well maybe we can hold out some hope for tonight

if it were coming tonight we would’ve known by now, the duration would have to be up on iTunes. it’s not on there yet meaning it hasn’t been submitted to any DSPs yet so tonight is kind of off the table unfortunately but hopefully next week! i have a gut feeling it’s gonna be the week of February 6th or 13th though

that post really convinced me that she is watching us and saying things like that to hold us over bc i did think the track list was announced very early, like if she was planning to release it that soon why wouldn’t she just post it with the preorder? because she saw the rumors and us freaking out about it. and now after the whole empire of lounge fiasco when some people thought she was going to say or announce something then and nothing happened, she saw us starving and had to tease us some more and let us know there’s still another single coming
