on the day it came out i listened to the title track on repeat for like 4 hours straight but i’ve only listened to it maybe five times since then… i’m trying to make sure i won’t be sick of it by the time the album comes out

Blood and Butter is fantastic, everything from this album i’ve heard so far has been a 10/10 except Sunset which i absolutely cannot stand for some reason and would be okay never listening to again please no sega bodega on any other songs on the album. i have this like extreme love for WTMI, BIAR, Billions, and now B&B but this extreme hatred for Sunset it’s kind of funny

this is so random but it seems like Kintsugi doesn’t have the final masters and the track lengths will likely be a few seconds off, given that they originally said Taco Truck x VB was 5:55 when we found in AHA that the final final is actually 5:53. so A&W might actually end up being 7:11 and that satisfies my little Lizzy Grant soft spot

i mean to be fair it’s not like the insider shenanigans were part of lana’s team’s rollout 😭

the fact that it feels like this era is actually finally close to starting just now further proves what i’ve been saying, there was literally no reason for them to announce the album in december. i would’ve rather them announced it early-mid feb and had a super exciting few weeks than the 2 month stretch of nothing 😭

honestly, i think it might end up being the title track for me. as i’ve said a lot, the theme of this whole album from what we know of the music, what we’ve heard from insiders, what lana said in her letter, and the visuals, seems to be intimacy in the form of raw and unfiltered vulnerability, and the title track encapsulates that perfectly to me. i just recently switched from apple music to spotify and it’s been weird looking at the single cover while listening to Ocean Blvd instead of the album cover

i’m really curious if the samples are interpolations, as in the piano parts were completely re-recorded with (presumably) Jack, or if the samples are directly lifted from the original songs and used in lana’s versions. at first i thought they were just interpolations because SYML isn’t credited as a producer on the album cover, but then i realized that it would probably look messy to credit him twice regardless lol
