also, before it starts tonight again because it always annoys me irrationally—she’s not waiting until midnight LA time to announce anything if she’s announcing something tonight (which she probably isn’t). no artist has ever set up a worldwide release/announcement for midnight LA time, it is going to be EST. please no “omg what if she releases at midnight PST” this era, that’s never going to happen 😭

when the “honeymoon started a live video” notification comes through at 11:45 EST tomorrow morning and then the preorder drops right after

i don’t think so, i have a feeling we’re getting the track list tomorrow which is going to be so insane and unpredictable + the cover obviously + possible alternate covers + preorder + vinyl + merch + possible album trailer + more info from boz and maybe eclipse it’s gonna be a good day

i agree i don’t think she’s coming back but are we sure accounts are permanently deleted after they’re deactivated for a while on IG? because when she started posting on honeymoon again i had to log into my old account that i deactivated 5 years ago since it was the only account i knew i followed honeymoon on and it let me reactivate like nothing. i’m pretty sure it’s only Twitter that deletes your account forever if you’re deactivated for a certain amount of time

Turista Gorda seems like a free/cheap alternative of Futura Now Display Black because it was made by “Nick’s Fonts” lol, while Futura is a pretty widely used and widely available typeface, so I’m almost positive everything but the Y is Futura Now Display Black. but i am no graphic designer i don’t really know anything 😭

also for anyone wondering, i’m pretty sure i figured out the font for the album while i was making that; i think it’s Futura Now Display Black, although the Y in the logo is different so i’m pretty sure they borrowed the Y from another font as well

really hoping the album cover is textless, i trust neil to take good photos but i don’t trust graphic designers after the laziness of the Chemtrails target cover

i don’t understand why anyone would go out of their way to do that only a day before we will get all of that information officially. it was probably her team preparing to update all of her descriptions tomorrow, they tested it out and took it down right away and we still caught it. this same situation has happened with other artists before as well

i don’t know anything about computers but can’t you still run that script even though it’s currently a 404 because it hasn’t been updated yet? that’s the preorder link that was in the youtube description i just think her team is gonna be stupid and update that link early and we might end up getting the album cover

ehhh, i think albums with every song just thrown onto them are very rarely ever strong bodies of work, even if there are really good songs. but i do like to hear as much music as possible, i just enjoy when it’s obvious that an artist put thought and care into making a cohesive project and it’s clear that everything was thought of in detail. i think deluxe editions are nice because the artist can thin out the album to only be songs that compliment each other while still releasing other songs that maybe didn’t fit exactly what they were going for. and then if there’s a bonus track that you really like and that enhances your personal listening experience, you can just add it to the album yourself hell, lana herself has 3 examples of how a few bad songs put onto otherwise good albums bring the quality and listening experience of the whole album down drastically but lana herself has said that she hates deluxe editions so we’re probably never getting another one again anyway
