  1. i can see her playing a random intimate west coast show for this album, hell maybe even a random show 2 days notice at a tiny venue in like fucking oklahoma or nebraska or something 💀. in regards to a big tour though, i don’t think she’ll ever go on a run again like she did for Paradise and Lust for Life. i think in like 5-10 years she might do another tour similar to the NFR one, a few stops again at smaller venues, but not very a long one.
  2. does anyone have a link to the Dan Heath remix in better quality than YT/SoundCloud?
  3. i feel like most announcements happen late morning/early afternoon depending on time zone. i’ve noticed that a lot of artists make announcements at 9am PST/12pm EST so it will probably be around then
  4. omfg before honeymoon went public again, the only account that i knew i followed it on was my old IG from 2015 that i stopped using in like 9th grade, and so once lana deactivated her main and started using honeymoon again i had to log back in to that account until i was able to catch when it was public and follow on the one i use now 💀 i never cared to log out of that old account though and for some reason my notifications on there come through like a day late, so i keep on getting honeymoon post notifications super delayed and keep thinking it’s something new. I just now received the notif for the pic with Neil and freaked out for a second, idk why i haven’t just turned them off for that account yet
  5. while i’m here. Video Games is one of lana’s most boring and uninterested songs. it’s cool that it’s what made her breakthrough, but i think the reason for that is that any other talented artist could write and sing Video Games, it doesn’t really stand out. in my opinion it’s the only songs in her discography that someone else could pull off, maybe Love Song too. i forget that it exists sometimes and i’m pretty sure i’ve skipped it every time i’ve listened to Born to Die for the last 5 or 6 years
  6. ik this is the unpopular opinion thread so i’m not coming for your unpopular opinion but 😭 i wouldn’t say that lana’s poetry is a side project; if anything it’s her true passion project because she’s always said that she considers herself to be a poet before a musician, before a songwriter, before a performer, etc etc. she’s a poet first in her own eyes and within the context of her own art
  7. i think it’s really interesting that the only older unreleased besides Yosemite and Dealer that have ended up on a newer album have leaked… it kind of makes me wonder if lana forgets about the existence of those songs and then remembers them once they do surface online. Like i just have a hard time believing that she was sitting on Nectar of the Gods for 8 years trying to find a home for it 😭
  8. okay i actually love Yes to Heaven, it’s kind of an ageless song that she can sing forever and it will still resonate with her, and I think that’s why it’s been considered for so many albums. however, i wish that when she puts older songs on albums she would re-record them like she did If You Lie Down with Me and Let Me Love You Like a Woman. I would be quite disappointed if a 2014 demo ended up on a future project, but i would love it if a current version did
  9. not sure if someone has posted this in here yet but the photo lana posted with neil is from this day of the UV shoot, April 5th 2014 i love these photos so much. the first picture would’ve made a really good Brooklyn Baby single cover
  10. idk i feel like artists are very comfortable around him so they open up quite a bit more and so his interviews tend to be a lot more intimate and raw than most i’ve seen. i personally think he’s a good interviewer but even if his style is not your thing we would still probably get like an hour of content of her talking on a pretty beach or something!! which would be nice
  11. one of those long form Zane Lowe interviews would be a dreammmm
  12. i forgot about California being for the last shadow puppets yeah you’re right also actually Chemtrails would only have 9 new songs too because didn’t Eclipse or BOZ or someone reliable say that Not All Who Wander Are Lost is from NFR sessions?
  13. okayyy i kind of have a feeling this is gonna be a shorter album like Chemtrails, maybe 12 tracks? just because, I do think there will be less outtakes on this one, and when you take out the outtakes from BB you have 9 songs if you don’t include the interlude, 10 songs on Chemtrails, and 13 on NFR (lowkey 12 since I’m pretty sure Bartender is quite a bit older than the Jack songs). I can see another 11-12 track album with Loved You Then and Now or Fine China or Yes to Heaven tacked on. Although I do think the automatic writing that she was doing is going to make the songs skew longer so the runtime will still be pretty hefty
  14. sorry for being so aggressive besties did anyone try the chicken nuggets? LDRX announcement December 7th!
  15. see the duration of 1 song random off the track list is specific enough but still such innocent irrelevant information that shouldn’t be a problem to share if you knew anything okay i’m done sorry y’all. like how can you legally spill that FJM is on a song but not say the length of a track
  16. wait i kind of feel seen though i was indirected on there. hello my fans
  17. wait wtf that wasn’t me 😭 i would be honest if it was lmao
  18. just a tip for all fake insiders of the future, if you want to have some fun be very vaguely specific but like… realistically specific, no saying that the album has 4 8 minute songs! make up some lyrics, make up some acronyms, tell us the durations of all of the tracks! and then when all the information actually does come out you can ghost this place but at least you had more people on their toes
  19. sorry i’m so hostile to the 111 and BOZ and lustforlife wannabes in here it’s just like if you’re going to troll and fake being an insider at least do it well like
  20. EXACTLY and like, realistically, when you listen to a new lana album, do you ONLY compare it to previously released work? or would you describe it as both the previously released work it reminds you of as well as the new sounds and new influences and what’s different about it? when people listen to new albums from their favorite artists yes they will compare it to old music of theirs but that’s not the only way people experience music, they’re also going to notice and point out what’s different. it’s just habitual
  21. never trust insiders who only compare new music to lana’s previous work tbh. like it’s a new album, it’s going to have a different sound to some extent. anyone who has actually heard anything wouldn’t strictly compare it to music we’ve already heard from lana, they would actually describe it, they would list other artists it reminds them of, they would talk about what the instrumentation is like. and a good fake insider would at least be creative yet realistic with it
  22. guys i can guarantee that nobody who knows neil krug is active on LANABOARDS 😭 except ben. omg hi ben!!
  23. I can see a January release honestly, even with physicals. The Rockefeller snippet was from August right? if they finished mixing and mastering in August, vinyl should be ready to hit the shelves in January
