    - when the coke necklaces came out (and i was stupid enough not to get one)

    - when the urban outfitters ultraviolence vinyl was released and maybe i am not remembering very well but i feel like some people hated the cover??

    - when the west coast video came out, i would just scroll through the comments for ages trying to figure out the meaning of the video

    - listening to fearne cotton premiere west coast (and me worrying that it was too mainstream - pls dont come for me i was 15)

    - i also dont remember the year but china.palace :creep: 

    - that meme of a chicken in a red dress and the opening lyrics of summertime sadness

    - that other meme of a red rose with a cigarette and the caption 'is this lana del rey'

    - random 'mixtapes' of unreleased songs popping up on ebay (the first time i listened to the god bless america one and i got to body electric live and thought..... lets pretend i didnt hear that)

    - those west coast and ultraviolence billboards that suddenly appeared

     

    also this isn't a universal memory but i thought it would be fun to share - i was like 14 when i got into lana and i remember watching the btd video for the first time and thinking the video was too risque for an innocent mind like mine so i didnt watch any of her videos for like a year until i thought i had 'matured' :toofunny: 

     

    i could go on and on but omg there are SO many amazing memories i have stanning lana (good and bad)... wouldnt change it for the world :flutter:

    I know jack wasn't exactly popular here but I am gutted for marina. Breaking up after five years together must have been awful and going by the sun article there was no big argument, just that they wanted different things from life... hope you're okay Marina...

    When I saw Lana does tarot I had a friggin meltdown!! YAS LANA!! :defeated: 

    So I know the good sis @recklessdaughter already did a reading but I thought I would offer my own too...

     

    Damn sis needs to be careful with those cards... I interpret them as she has been through a lot of heartache (third card) and has constantly been on the defence (first card) to get what she wants (second card). Whatever it is that she wants, it has huge potential. As the card is in the suit of pentacles, this could be referring to her new album, poetry book or the Christmas cover album. Or maybe it is something else I haven't thought of. (Pentacles are all about more practical aspects of life like work and money). Whatever it is, it has had a pretty big emotional effect on our girl. Look after yourself Lana!

    If it's not a froot style 7" vinyl release, I think we will still get one vinyl for every single from the album and an accompanying zine. We know there will be multiple zines, and as the zines seem to be about the single they are released with it could suggest that there will be multiple 7" vinyls. Maybe it won't be the entire album on the singles but I think it'll be a good proportion of the album? Anyway that was just my interpretation so hopefully these won't be my famous last words :toofunny:

    this is actually INSANE how quickly they are selling out. been looking at every website and all but two are sold out and the only two I can find keep crashing :defeated:

     

    edit: after 40 minutes of constantly refreshing the page, I got one!! Go get those coins charles!

    I never post here but my HIFN book arrived yesterday!! I don't know what I was expecting but omg it's GORGEOUS :defeated: it's a lot bigger than I was expecting as well - it's about 40cm diagonally

    Lana all set to drop the surprise pre order but then checking this thread

    This gif brings back so many memories of LFL pre-release thread :toofunny: 

     

    It looks like this is gonna be the shortest pre-release era ever (I'm defining pre-release era from the time the lead single is released to the album release). The shortest era so far is for HM, where HBTB was released 39 days before the album release. Today we are 36/7 days from COCCs release. And I can't imagine the lead single coming for another week at least to distance it from VBBOTG.
