I really love this thread. It's really inspirational and helps me with ideas for my own writing (fiction novels) sometimes i just sit here and read all of it. though this is all speculation i really appreciaite this world lana has created for us. Side note (completley off topic) I know her look may be manufatured but when people say EVERYTHING about her is manufactured it really irks me. Despite the big orcherstras and all the cinematics lana's lyrics haven't really changed lyrically and she still tells the same stories.. I LOVE U ALL

Her SNL performance actually. I was like who is this god awful basic ass singer?! And then I went and looked her up on youtube, fell in love. I saw her other live performances, and realized the horrid SNL performance was probably just due to nerves. I felt really bad for bashing her because I made a facebook status about how horrible her SNL performance was lol. And then born to die came out and then it just turned my world upside down. I haven't stopped listening to it yet.

I'm not going to take some of the "bitchy" things stated in this interview to heart because I understand that it was a translated interview and somethings might have been lost in translation or whatever. But I really wish like people already stated she would get over her "fear" of the US. She should know she has a solid fan base in the states as well. Just because she doesn't attract the crowds she attracts overseas, doesn't mean she doesn't have people who like her. Charts should be enough proof for her.
