I mean some projects do honestly sound dated upon arrival- like the song with Caroline and Christine(I honestly can’t even remember the name 💀) it sounds 80s but like so 80s that it hasn’t evolved. I disagree that crash has no highlights though-Baby, Good ones, Lightning

The voice is there in Honeymoon too, it’s just a different mic-she hasn’t played with her vocals since after UV tbh. BTD is her most diverse vocally followed by UV then Paradise Also her awful mic technique of paper 💀

I’ve seen people talk about how crash aged like milk recently but looking back I honestly think good ones aged the best out of the bunch- would of been nice to continue this vibe.

Quite often even with major label artists, I’m not saying sky is deficient of any blame but albums and videos by Lana herself like UV were nearly entirely remade or the videos were scrapped(actually happened) after label interference. Like some of you just want to hate her for fun, watch a film, go on a date with your partner etc

I’m not going to act as an abolitionist because I love leaks-let’s face it, leaks have helped lanas career massively whether she’ll admit it or not. I just think as other members have stated it’s about respecting her wishes in regards to new leaked material from the album.

It is a tricky one to discern, tons of her leaked songs go viral on tik tok- so either way you can listen to them unintentionally-I do think there should be a block on this site from material-2018-onwards as she seems to reuse a lot of material.

I see your point but it’s LA, it’s not really a grassroots city where people settle down and it’s full of crime and poverty-she’s not going to get a bodyguard because she doesn’t THAT want fame-the easiest way out of this is to be someone like Marina who doesn’t get papped.

Yep Barring this incident-she has 3+ court incidents of stalking,burgarly, kidnapping etc and this is only the court ones.

stalking and obsession is rampant especially with Lana though-her popularity is increasing a lot and her as a person attracts a lot of very damaged and dangerous people. I said it once and I’ll say it again-move out of the US into Europe, LA is the worst place for someone like her to live-hell she can even move her family for their safety. if she’s not careful one day she will be attacked and who knows what next. we’ve had people try and kidnap her through the years-all it takes is for her to be alone for 10 minutes.

Not a Selena fan but this was genuinely a decent alt pop song in the decade of pop stars copying Lana.

Marina has always been pretty poppy to me-she has some pop rock/new wave moments scattered around though. Rina is just any throwback music from the mid 90s to mid 2000s. Grimes does truly have some experimental moments but is poppier lately. The 1975 started as new wave/synth pop and are mostly pop/pop rock now. never understood the alt pop claims with Dua-management definitely tried to market her this way but be the one has no alt elements-it’s pure pop hence why they scrapped this image.

Yeah she hasnt done promo really since UV-no talk shows or performances, mostly radio gigs and magazines. it’s not a new thing really.

There is no career left, she should stick to acting and modelling and release whenever she can with no timeframe and no teasing-because she clearly doesn’t care about a rollout anyway

Oh I’m not accusing her of being a plant or some silly term. For its worth I’ve never understood the Lana comparison though-she’s always wore similar things even as lizzy with a Hollywood obsession-it was just funny because dua started out this way and changed her entire look and songlist mid-way through her first album.
