How tf were the trained back up dancers stumbling all over the stage and late to charlis moves which she executed while singing?? they need training omg she really tore up her performances, vocals, outfits and choreography.

they’re cute but I prefer the older crash era outfits, these are a bit like that girl from euphoria Alexa demie - not really charlis style and I can tell these are more a stylists work not hers.

I don’t actually agree, I don’t find the Charli album well constructed at all but maybe it’s charlis melodies and lyricism on that record I just dislike and AG was all over that record. certainly AG had a big influence on N1 Angel and it’s one of her best and most diverse albums but it’s not experimental nor PC really bar lip gloss(more EDM though) and Roll with me. It’s mostly a heavy hip hop inspired pop record. I think most of the Critique are from stans who just want tune tbh, I remember people trashing vroom vroom as an ep when it came out. It’s all about finding the right audience but Baby definitely fits a well constructed song to me.

I don’t think charli plans at all she’s very instinctive and impulsive as a person and changes her mind a lot. she could go anywhere next, there’s no guessing but I doubt she’ll go back to the PC sound-she will always experiment though.

I’d argue Baby is her best single since pop 2

Charlis cheekbone area does not look like these photos, I personally think they’re over edited unnecessarily by the editor-there are some photos where her moles have been wiped.

Also Baby should have led this campaign with Good ones as the next single-Baby is refreshing

It’s not that serious, there are a lot of gay men and girls stereotypically who use women in pop as props to boost their topics in life by being bitchy on Twitter. Of course I’m sure there are straight men etc who do this aswell. I agree with the sucker transition though-the feedback was harsh and she didn’t complain half as much as now.

Ooh I’m actually seeing a lot of comments about the chorus actually, it’s interesting I think it would make a difference with more harmonies-she stopped doing this during auto tune eras and I guess it’s noticeable now because it’s less auto tune?

I mean I’d definitely like her to incorporate her accent more in her songs like prior and work on her vocals as she really can have a distinct tone which creates a massive chorus affect but otherwise baby is well produced and interesting.

There’s two sides too it, both with merit- people should be able to state their opinions but there are a lot of people tweeting her all types of personal remarks leading to ageism etc. on the flipside she has become a bit parasocial and invested in social media, she was never this way during sucker and she had exactly the same treatment flipping from TR-I remember the comments sections which she even brought up in a interview lightly. It never affected her to this point or atleast didn’t seem to.
