I can see why Hyperpop fans would feel this way tbf-it’s a change of tempo for sure. Ooo and cross you out was such a disappointment to me because I love sky-the instrumental is gorgeous but the lyrics and melody are well…lacking in my opinion

This isn’t unpopular though-many of us feel the same 💀 There’s nothing wrong with Cloud Aura-its a tribute to Eve and Gwen Stefani and flows with the album.

Here’s one interview where states it was written after TR- Can you trace back when you started work on the album? "Basically straight after I put out my first album True Romance. I think Boom Clap was written pretty much straight after that."

Pretty sure it was never going to be on TR, but she has some contradicting interviews where she said she wrote it at 16? And others where she states later in Stockholm. it couldn’t have been the writing sessions for TR either because her references were the new wave stuff which came after TR-she needs to clarify this tbh. still waiting for I love it to leak tbh-it’s odd that it’s been years lol. this interview here also indicates it was written after TR-so odd: It started out when I was in Stockholm, which I'm figuring out is the place where I write my best music. Me and the producer, Patrick Berger, had been put in this place where everyone wanted us to write [Icona Pop's] 'I Love It' again. I had this session, and they were like, 'This is your thing! Here's a beat and write 'I Love It' on it!' And I was getting really sick of it, because 'I Love It' was such a random thing that happened once and it's never going to happen again." Charli added, "Patrick had this idea for 'Boom Clap,' and I thought it was a very 'Rock 'n' Roll High School,' Ramones kind of thing. So we did it my way, where instead of rock 'n' roll we made it this pop love song, which I guess is what I do."

The set list is okay-not amazing and it could of done without boom clap, 1999 and boys. id actually kill to hear break the rules if she’s gonna go for a commercial bop but she prefers the others….for some reason. the lighting is a choice however-Oakland fans could you see her? Because on the vids 💀

Her voice is so low now but funnily enough you can hear it in Tulips on one specific note if you listen carefully, it’s not just the tone though-her melodies are v different now and she does this faux Caribbean voice at times or skips syllables. it’s odd though because she can do the natural voice as seen in the meatballs song. I also don’t hear sucker at all in that song besides the lack of a lot of tune.

Also I’ve been trying to work out the track list of the OG punk one month album: I’ve narrowed it down to: Allergic to Love Mow that lawn Breaking Up Gold coins im a dream Lightning bolts? unreleased Better than Ur last thing? unreleased I wanna be like you Let’s make Love One two Bamboo like this(final) Unreleased Japan Body of my own(demo) And I’m sure many more- left off songs like it doesn’t matter as I’m pretty sure these were intended for sucker. I spent about a month making a punk record and covering songs by Swedish punk bands like Snuffed By The Yakuza and stuff. This song was written when I came out of the other side of that punk phase and translated it into something more pop. Obviously, it's about not giving a fuck.

I’ll never understand the love for this album, best believe if it was released it would of flopped and been slated-it’s like an even more bubblegum Sucker without the guitar edge-and god knows half of you hate sucker.

These songs are extremely quick anyway so we should have atleast half an hour of other songs not on the album

Best songs(top 5) on the album are Baby, Move me, Lightning, Constant Repeat and Good ones
