Promos are to promote the album though-usually they coincide this with a release bundle and such for the album like liability by Lorde etc. Most artists just push both of their normal singles on Snl-Charli did this with break the rules and boom clap, neither were promo singles . To put so much effort into a promo single would not be useful.

What? When. If they do, what a waste of time. promo singles usually don’t have videos but whatever-it was never marketed as a promo release so you can keep the narrative.
-
It was not a promo single, you don’t push a promo single on snl dear. she should push baby as it sounds the best out of the singles along with good ones. beg for you may get some streams in the UK though because of garages resurgence

It definitely is not just a cry for you sample, you can hear the flowers sample in the melody and beats. if not-they have a plagiarism lawsuit at hand here.
-
cant wait for flowers to be sampled in every British song until 2050
-
You must not be bri ish
-
We didn’t need another flowers sample 💀 2021 has had like 10 different covers/samples
-
cracked the code, folks
-
It probably samples flowers-some other garage or drum n bass hit same instrumental

To the song, Chris and Caroline. not that they aren’t talented and I love door.

Nothing could save New Shapes, Charli was doing charity service with that snl performance

Has anyone notice how Charlis vocal tone changes so much? pre TR: very Kate Bush vocals-if you listen to Jungle, gravity or electronique. post TR: Very British accented, close to her speaking voice-nice high notes and falsetto. Sucker: Very bratty and shouty, very Gwen Stefani and all melodies sound catchy In this voice. Post Sucker-before Pop 2: very feminine high pitched vocals, at times she almost does a Caribbeanish accent like in Boys, 3am. Pop 2- onwards: high usage of auto tune. Vocals are very inspired by soundcloud rap-listen to the untuned version of if I cry for example. she incorporates a lot of fast paced melodic verses which are almost rapped. very androgynous almost low vocals. Crash: Falsetto is back but auto tune and the lower pitch vocals stay- see the verses on good ones and new shapes for the low pitch.
