  1. I love these. Lovers Undercover sounds like an exciting Live Or Die/Prom Song/On Our Way-ish track.
  2. She should just release a 17 track deluxe edition of the album. I mean, other artists do it as well.
  3. Remember when Kylie invented music?
  4. The only thing I don't like about the Ride video are all these old men. Kinda disgusting IMO. I remember Video Games and Summertime Sadness were played very often (and I still hear them on the radio occasionally), Born To Die and Blue Jeans (even though it wasn't even a single) too and even Dark Paradise got quite some airplay, despite its rather bad chart performance. I also heard West Coast a few times (interestingly it was the album version and not the radio mix) and around the release of Ultraviolence, they even played Shades Of Cool once or twice.
  5. I'm very excited for the video. The last Lana video I really loved was Shades Of Cool, so I hope this one will be a great one again. Radio did play her songs in 2011/2012/2013, though. At least in Europe, I'm not sure about the US. Regarding the music itself - I know that I love everything Lana releases (although it sometimes takes some time for me to get into it), but I hope there'll be a few uptempo songs on the album too.
  6. Born To Die (The Paradise Edition) > Ultraviolence > Honeymoon > Lizzy Grant
  7. If I were famous and somebody stole my work, I would sue their ass off.
  8. I kinda feel bad for Rick Nowels, like I don't think it's only his fault that Honeymoon sounds the way it sounds. Kieron Menzies and Lana herself were producers as well and I can imagine that Lana wanted this minimal production. Anyway, am I the only one who has a hard time trying to get hyped for this album? I love Lana, but I'm not here for "uninspired", "lazy", "weak" (production-wise) songs? I want exciting songs like Born To Die, Blue Jeans, Off To The Races, Ride, Gods & Monsters and most of Ultraviolence. But at least the video seems to be beautiful, I mean, that's something. @@Eclipse, do you know who produced the lead single and the title track? We know Justin Parker, Rick Nowels and Emile Haynie worked on this album, right?
  9. He did Ultraviolence. Ultraviolence starts: "I just got really hard for a second." "If you don't like Lana Del Rey, then you", I love this guy haha.
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpfYSyiyf2U I can't be the only Zelda fan here. THE NOSTALGIA!
  11. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood > The Other Woman

    Song vs. Song

Born To Die vs. Young & Beautiful
  13. When did she say she considers it a standalone album? Because she called the Paradise Edition "an afterthought of Born To Die" and "the final statement of the thoughts" she was putting across in Born To Die.
  14. To me, it always seemed like she just randomly dropped Italian words like "cacciatore", "salvatore", "ciao amore" etc. between the "ladadadada" lines without the song making any particular sense.
