Well that's certainly one of the covers she's ever given us.
-
Never heard of them before, but I just checked out that album and although personally I much prefer Troye's voice I quite enjoyed it! I agree that it sounds reminiscent of some of Troye's recent music – and upon checking out the credits, it definitely makes sense: 7/10 songs of the album were produced by Styalz Fuego, who also worked on Rush as a producer and co-writer.

I feel conflicted about the cover. I can see the vision, I respect her for actually going through with it, but... I'm not spending money on a physical copy that looks like that.

I'm glad it's finally out, but her German sounds kinda weird on this, especially during the verses. It kinda doesn't flow very naturally imo.

She just... randomly dropped the German version of Thousand Pieces? https://open.spotify.com/album/7Itq48oKL1MTHG2hLud7bc?si=UVw5V3uoTK27gmVgfbKgog

Cringe at r/lanadelrey thread at reddit

I love how messy the LDR-related subreddits are. I don't know who this person is, but they're the level of extra I aspire to achieve in my life. I love how they called the Holy War against Swifties. I support them. -
The fact that in a week from now, it will have been NINE YEARS since she premiered it at her concert.

I'm always happy to see Madame X praise, but cutting off God Control, I Don't Search I Find and Ciao Bella of all songs...
-
Seeing Madonna live and in colour with @Amadeus next week.
-
Unfortunately not. Not even a snippet, or confirmation that anyone actually has it. At this point I'm not sure if she ever even recorded a studio version.

Oh Dua Lipa, the LEGEND that you are!

What the actual fuck is going on in this thread? -
Out Out and Hot In It are basic bops, but they're well made basic bops. As songs, they do exactly what they intended to do. Meanwhile Sam's vocals on this sound screechy and are just hard to listen to, and pretty much make the whole song borderline unlistenable to me. I honestly don't get why they decided to produce his vocals like that, because I don't think Sam is a bad vocalist per se. I can only assume that whoever was in charge produced Sam's vocals the exact same way they produced Charli's, failing to consider that different voices might need different production.
-
Well, In The City is certainly one of the songs she's ever released. If it was only Charli, it would simply be a below average, kinda boring track, but unfortunately the moment Sam comes in the song turns into a trainwreck. I guess a discography as big and mostly amazing as Charli's is bound to have a stinker every so often; it's been four years since Blame It On Your Love, so it was probably time for another one.

I was right. This is pop perfection.

Ten more hours for me. Soo excited to listen to this, I'm confident this might end up being my album of the year.

This one is really interesting because Electric was teased as a potential album title by insiders about a year ago.
