  1. Not available for me yet (I think in the entirety of the EU actually, due to stricter privacy laws here), but since Tw*tter suspended my main account yesterday, I suppose I'll give Threads a try instead.
  2. That's just my personal opinion, but I think with her first three albums there's mostly hit singles + filler. Obviously there are some exceptions (I'll always be a Radio apologist, and B'Day has some pretty great album tracks as well), but I think she only really started creating bodies of work with 4. From that album onwards, I think it's probably best to just listen chronologically. As for 4, there's an "original" tracklist starting with 1+1 and an "expanded" one for digital versions of the album that opens with Love On Top; personally I think the former flows a lot better. Then, the iconic self-titled album that catapulted her to legend status. Since she released music videos for every single song on that album, I would highly recommend watching them all rather than just listening to the album on Spotify or whatever since they really add a whole extra dimension to those songs. The same goes for Lemonade, although for that album she released a short film and I'm not sure if that's actually available to watch on YouTube. And well, you already know Act I: Renaissance. She also released some side projects prior to Renaissance that might be worth checking out, although I think they're not essential. And finally, give her live albums a try too, they're worth it. Homecoming/Beychella is obviously iconic and you can watch it on Netflix, and I would also really recommend I Am... Yours for a more intimate concert experience.
  3. Not me only now realising y'all made a separate thread for this Direct. Meanwhile I had the Nintendo Switch thread open and was surprised that nobody was discussing any of the new games. Anyway. Really looking forward to Super Mario Wonder, I've been wanting a new 2D Mario game for years! Super Mario Bros. meets Acid Trip, what more could anyone possibly want? I might get the Super Mario RPG remake as well at one point, but I actually bought the original on the Wii U when the eShop was about to close, but never got around to actually playing it. The remake does look a lot prettier though...
  4. They were only semi-radio hits in Europe and n/a elsewhere, so she doesn't really perform them anymore unfortunately, but as far as I know they're both huge fan favourites. 4 In The Morning might actually be my favourite song of all time, so great taste!
  5. The earliest I can remember with certainty is 2008; before that I mostly listened to those compilation CDs of the biggest hits at the time rather than to full albums. 2006: Pink – I'm Not Dead (probably; I definitely loved all the singles) 2007: Gwen Stefani – The Sweet Escape (not sure if I actually listened to the full album back then already, but I know for a fact that I loved 4 In The Morning, The Sweet Escape and Early Winter and have loved Gwen ever since) 2008: Pink – Funhouse 2009: Green Day – 21st Century Breakdown 2010: Nelly Furtado – Loose (yes I'm aware that it came out years earlier, but that's when I discovered it and I was OBSESSED) 2011: Natalia Kills – Perfectionist (or Charlee – This Is Me; not sure which one I listened to more) 2012: Born To Die... duh! 2013: still Born To Die, but with Paradise added as well 2014: Ultraviolence and BEYONCÉ 2015: Honeymoon 2016: Gwen Stefani – This Is What The Truth Feels Like and Troye Sivan – Blue Neighbourhood 2017: Allie X – CollXtion II 2018: Troye Sivan – Bloom 2019: NFR 2020: Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia 2021: Chemtrails Over The Country Club 2022: Beyoncé – Renaissance

    Ava Max

So rude that Diamonds & Dancefloors flopped, still the best pop album of the year for me. There are so many little details hidden in the production that I just keep listening again and again, and half of the album is still in my On Repeat playlist after all this time.
  7. While we're on the topic of unrealistic wishes that have a zero percent chance of coming true, I am once again asking for Push Push Push to be officially released.
  8. Now that you mention it... I'm kinda worried about TOTL vol. 3 now lol.
  9. Thinking about how the best songs on this album (King Of Hearts, Uhoh, Claws, Castle In The Sky, Brrr) are the ones with zero L*ke involvement. I guess now that he's producing for more artists again, all his good stuff is going to them and Kim only gets the beats that nobody else wants.
  10. So I finally got to see Gwen last week. Fell in love with her music when I was like ten, she's been my number one (alongside Lana) for pretty much my entire life, and after years and years and years of waiting it finally happened. Unreal, just unreal. (Yes I was crying the entire time because they almost had to cancel the entire festival due to a massive storm and when I actually saw her on that stage my brain simply could not compute that this was happening.)
  11. Can anyone explain to me why King Of Hearts isn't available to stream anywhere yet even though she performed it on live TV days ago? Imagine getting the opportunity to perform your new single on a huge show that had around 1.7 million viewers in Germany alone that night, and then the people who liked it and wanna listen to that song again afterwards... simply can't? Like, what the fuck is the strategy here?

    Kylie Minogue

Padam has become her biggest UK hit since Higher (and biggest solo hit since All The Lovers), currently at 9 and it looks like it might continue climbing even higher! She has now had top ten hits in the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s AND 20s! Honestly so proud of her, especially since she even managed to do it without any features and stuff – just an organic hit that people love.
  13. If I were you, I'd delete these links real quick before a mod sees them.
  14. Me waiting for my signed CD while everything is leaking left and right and everyone is already listening:

    Madonna

She really said "It's Pride Month, lemme feed my little faguettes and Medonsters!"

    Charli XCX

Need this to happen so badly.

    Kylie Minogue

Pretty sure it was done via an "Enhanced CD" section. So basically you would insert the CD into your computer and in addition to the actual audio files, it would show something like a Kylie.exe file. Those usually contained picture galleries, videos in like 240p, lyrics, and sometimes links that would take you to a download site for download-exclusive tracks. However, in my experience, those CD-ROM bonus tracks were never stored on the actual CD, and I'm 99.9 % sure that the link isn't working anymore since it's been quite a while.
  18. Somebody from the US wanna order a signed copy for me and ship it over here afterwards? I'll PayPal you the money obv.
  19. For me it's kinda giving Clarity, which is probably my favourite Kim era visually. But you're not wrong, it doesn't really fit the sound of the songs that ended up on the album. But honestly, at this point I'm just glad it has a cover, a tracklist, and a release date. I just want her to get it out; knowing Kim she'll retcon it into a mixtape in a few months anyway.
  20. Not Unholy and Coconuts being on the album. Not gonna lie though, the cover looks amazing. Is this Kimberley tricking me into buying a physical copy of Feed The Beast and succeeding?
  21. SMASH HIT! Now drop Serial Killer and You Can Be The Boss, cowards @teamLDR!

    Madonna

Like A Prayer – 2023 version (feat. The Weeknd) maybe?
  23. Love Ya, Leave Ya deserves a spot on the album.
