There's actually rumours that they might try to give Love Again a little push after Christmas (it would probably be another "small" single, like Hallucinate), apparently some European radio stations even started playing it already. If that's true, my guess would be late February for the next global single (i.e. a song from the B-side album), and March for the album itself. If Love Again doesn't get pushed, I think a late January release for the single and a February release for the B-side album would be realistic.

I mean, the summer re-releases was clearly just a quick little rush job because of #justiceforGlory (which is why there's still like three different versions of the album on Spotify), whereas this finally seems to be a properly put together "definitive edition" including both digital and physical releases. I think this is a decent compromise between Britney not recording any new music right now (for obvious reasons) and still giving the fans something nice.

I'm incredibly proud of Dua. Future Nostalgia is a fantastic album and this whole era has just been flawless in every regard, I honestly can't remember the last time a pop artist gave us such a great era, with so much content, longevity, and just genuine passion for pop music; not to mention she managed to do so during a pandemic! So yeah, I think she really deserves Album of the Year... Fingers crossed! Beyoncé sweeping nominations left and right despite barely releasing anything this year is just highkey iconic, and I'm really happy for Megan, Doja, Fiona, and Taylor as well. I'm also glad Watermelon Sugar got two (minor) nominations, that song was just such an organic, slowly climbing hit and I think it's well deserved. And yeah, The Weeknd not getting any nominations at all is just baffling, especially when Justin Bieber's objectively bad music got nominated. Personally I wasn't that much into Abel's album, but you can't deny that Blinding Lights was one of the dominating songs of the last year, alongside Don't Start Now and Say So.

Pretty sure the two "never before released songs" will just be Mood Ring and Swimming In The Stars. Mood Ring is not part of the 17 original songs, and it would be extremely weird to include two remixes of Mood Ring, but not the original. Well... It's certainly a step in the right direction, but overall it's still only "okay" to me. I think the lyrics are great, I was worried this was going to be another "raised index finger" kind of affair, so that's a good thing. On the other hand, I still miss that sarcastic/cynical style of writing she used to have, it just gave her music so much personality. The production is whatever, better than on L+F, but that's hardly an accomplishment. Her vocals sound muffled, as others have already remarked, and something about them gives me a slight headache. I can't quite put it into words, but something about her vocal delivery changed with L+F, and since then it's somehow been harder for me to listen to her voice. Did she change her singing technique, or are her vocals produced or processed differently? No idea. But yeah, it's a step in the right direction, now let's pray for the album.
