It would be interesting to know who actually leaked the song in the first place. Has to be someone who works with Lana or who has access to the files (in a studio? Radio?). I'm feeling really sorry for Lana – the internet sucks sometimes.

The new single is pretty bad. I still hope it's just a piece in the puzzle of the entire project to troll us all, just like her YT videos, but as a song this isn't really my cup of tea.

That's actually why I don't like BTD as much nowadays as I loved it 2012 (I still love it but it's not my favorite Lana record) – the production now sounds a bit boring (to me) compared to the stuff Lana released later on.

I bought 2 versions of UV - the German one and the one from Target in the US just to get Flipside.

Her YT-channel has about 55 mio views atm... (And I really love her clips too, it's the kind of absurdist surreal stuff I admire a lot.)

I'm not quite sure if the author is really on point with his analysis but I like the article anyways and the theories sound interesting. It's always nice if someone in the media takes her albums seriously and treats her with respect (instead of just focussing on looks etc.).
