This morning, in front of her hotel in Paris, a famous French Radio & TV journalist came out after doing an interview with Lana Del Rey and he confessed that she will attend the NRJ Music Awards 2013 at the end of January (the 26th apparently), in Cannes !
 
However, tbh, that show is so rigged... Still glad that she will make another appearance in France again !

this would be amazing, and the added bonus should be that obviously all the songs on her setlist would be re-arranged to be acoustic and lana would play the guitar!!!!!! AAAH! can you imagine? lana, lizzy and may finally integrated, performing as one ♥ it'd be an intimate little show, with low lights (?), in MTV's new york studios. one can only dream

I remember when Mtv played videos. I have the mtv hits channel which still plays videos but I haven't seen Lana on it. If Mtv was programmed like it was back in the 80s and 90s I have a feeling that Lana' videos would be in heavy rotation.

You know, every time she says this i think of the episode of My So-Called Life when Angela is at the house party and Jordan Catalano is trying to have sex with her. Am i alone in thinking this? My So-Called Life? Anyone? ....

i actually was old enough to watch mtv videos, they didn't start room raiders and all of that stuff til the early 2000's. but with youtube, i don't think they really need to. it's a teen mom network now (my guilty pleasure lol)

These are good numbers, but nothing in the Perry/Gaga/Adele league.

Can i just categorically say that Lana Del Rey is conventionally attractive? I mean, i think she is, but what makes a person conventionally attractive? Symmetry? Certain features being accentuated while others appear subtler? Vibrancy? The appearance of being healthy? A certain sense of style? Whatever the secret formula may be, it’s pretty clear that the good majority of her fans find her to be incredibly attractive. What prompted the train of thought that lead to making this thread was a further realization of how often comments and praise about her are centered on her (good) looks. Inevitably, that lead me to wonder how things would have turned out if she were less attractive--whether it was slightly so or a significant amount (however in the hell that may be measured). What if she was completely ordinary looking? Or what if she was rather homely? Would she be as adored? Would she have as many admirers? Would the makeup of her fanbase look very different? There are no ways to answer these questions, of course, but i just wanted to welcome some thoughts on this topic because i’m curious what others think. I, personally, tend to think that she wouldn’t be as successful, at least within certain strata of her fans, simply because, as i mentioned above, how much of the commentary regarding her is focused on her looks. What do you all think? When responding, maybe keep in mind the significant, crucial role that youth, beauty, and sexual capital play in being a successful woman in our society, and particularly in the entertainment industry.

I've never really been a true fan of like, anyone, I don't think. but I feel a bit of a connection with her, in terms of her visual style, her overall demeanor (awkward, but often misconstrued as bitchy or even worse), and her whole 'world' in general (what with the various shades of narcissism, girlish emotional torment, and daddy-heavy love). My focus in school has always been science, but I feel as if she's allowed me to tap into a more creative side of myself (re: fan art). ultimately, despite the depressive and often fucked up undertones, I think she's made me more optimistic about life, and people in general. no easy feat.

I live in Ireland so we only have shitty Mountain Dew energy. WHICH TASTES AWFUL! Its only been around like a year and a half and a load of it always gets given away as promos during the first week of college. The first time I drank it i took like 6 bottles and drank them all in a day and used them as vodka mixers. NEVER drinking it again. I do drink way more Pepsi now though. And im still OBSESSED with cherry colas. YUM.

I've only seen Lana drink Coca Cola and from the most recent interview we know that Barrie said Coca Cola and he didn't even mean Lana's pussy (disappointed). I tried Cherry Coke once because Lana has mentioned it but it's pretty shit.
