I've told this hundreds and hundreds of times already - the fact she's still in touch with Eclipse in general isn't wise neither of her, nor her team. Don't get me wrong, I have some respect for this guy, but she shouldn't have adressed his early tweets about LDR5 back then. Maybe in that case the drama might have been avoided. If we didn't know this was confirmed this whole thing wouldn't spread this fast. Just the thought of a guy leaking things and her coming to him and spilling all the info is super dumb. I know she wanted to adress the fact this was new material and ask him to stop posting hints, but still this certainly wasn't the wisest decision... Listening to unreleased stuff like Fine China makes me really sad in terms of realising that despite Honeymoon being my favourite album of her it lacks storytelling like some of you said. It's so beautful in terms of melody, vocals, variety of instruments, being all cinematic etc. But deEAR GOD ABOVE why are the lyrics so flat? The only song consistent in terms of message, point and structure is Swan Song imo. Fine China is lyrical magnum opus and I hope she'll go for this type of creative writing rather than ready-to-use symbols and phrases mimicking Born To Die (and, in addition, failing). I'm looking at you LDR5 do not footfall down the passage which you should not take :smokes3:

To be completely honest I was scared she stopped doing collabs because she was feeling insecure about working with different people and not alone and/or with her "usual" team. But then I reminded myself of Dan Auerbach influening her and the whole Stargirl new situation and... I don't even know anymore. I really feel like she just wants her work to be 100% her and something only SHE has to be ultra proud of and she feels this strange pressure working with people. It's the other way around when she's invited to collab with others on their projects it seems. I personally am not interested in seeing other artists on LDR5. For me she perceives her albums as too polished for someone to come and risk not understanding her concept. Random thoughts
