Some of the fans are totally immature and have no sense of respect for others. I love Lana's music and want to see her live, but I don't want to have to deal with all that bullshit lol. Plus, there always seems to be the big mouths that can't keep quiet so we can hear her sing. God job for protecting your friends.

I like this era of videos from Lana. Shades of Cool is so haunting. UV as a whole is the type of album you have to listen to over a period of time in order to let it register. At least for me lol .

Lana honey, don't look for happiness from others, you will always be disappointed. She needs some positivity and love in her life. UV is def way darker than her previous works. I think she has probably struggled with depression for years. Maybe thats why UV is a conundrum to me. My frame of mind right now is in a good space, but when I am feeling melancholy or blue I put on Lana's music and it soothes me. I hope she can realize that this is her universe and it's up to her to make it the way she want's it.

I find it funny how they call it ARTflop even though I hear Applause and Do What You Want on the radio all the time. That, to me, isn't a flop. People have a hard time supporting one artist without feeling the need to tear another down. Those are the immature people who probably have no idea what it takes to make it in the biz.

This song is the biggest surprise for me. To be honest, I didn't expect much from it when I first hear sneak peak. Now I can't stop playing it. One of the best songs from album, for sure.

I was never really a huge fan but I thought Artpop was a great album. A lot of dance tracks that are more upbeat and fun, not taking herself so seriously. Everyone has different tastes though. Like I never understood the big deal over Marina and the Diamonds. lol

I made mine

So I saw this picture today from her Ultraviolence photo shoot and just thought up this simple cover, i tried to keep it as basic as possible to try and make it similar to the official Ultraviolence cover because I love it so much!.
 

I broke down and listened to it. My willpower wasn't strong enough lol. UV sounds good but the mix seems a little off, especially the bass. So far West Coast is still my fav, with SoC and UV following. I am hoping for more uptempo numbers.
 
I've been a member of plenty of message boards, some for a few years. With that being said, there are some here that think the more vulgar or insulting they can be, the better. Maybe it's the same disrespectful people that go to the shows and ruin it for everyone else. They will try to ruin a positive and friendly, and mature atmosphere on these boards if they are allowed to. I notice its always the same ones as well that start the immature drama and have negative attitudes. Hopefully if people ignore them they will go away, unless the moderators decide to do something about it.

I love it. Lana's voice is hauntingly beautiful yet again.
