Since everyone talking about Lana x Portishead and there's no thread for them... Portishead are an English band formed in 1991 in Bristol. They are named after the nearby town of the same name, eight miles west of Bristol, along the coast. Portishead consists of Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utley, while sometimes citing a fourth member, Dave McDonald, an engineer on their first records Their debut album, Dummy, was met with critical acclaim in 1994. Two other studio albums were issued: Portishead in 1997 and Third in 2008. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qQyUi4zfDs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmDkzVvherk tbh I have never listened to "Third" is it any good?

thank you ok thank you so much  even if halsey is kinda right about sky i always felt like she (halsey) is so fake and pretentious tbh also, who she is to talk sh.it about sky while she's a product made for tumblr aesthetic girls :)

i was reading this thread but i still get nothing... what is going on with sky and halsey? :defeated:

AKA: yellow BTD: blue PARADISE: olive UV: black HONEYMOON: maroon I think it's all because of the covers... AKA is yellow-ish, BTD has a lot of blue in it just like Paradise is kinda olive while UV is in black & white (+ dark lyrics) and Honeymoon... well...red, white and blue

i was once into serial killers/mass shooters (the darkest side of tumblr) - it was very fascinating actually and i still remember some "fun facts" that i love to share in the middle of conversations since child i was also interested in creepy things - witches, monsters etc. also my culture is kinda dark (slavic culture is soooo fascinating unfortunately christians destroyed a lot of stuff and we don't know much about our pagan history ) i also love horror movies, you can guess i hate being home alone at night

tbh i think genres is something really bad for artists - it's easy to call someone something, some artists actually stop improving themselves because of that. music is something amazing and all the biggest artists were never masters of one genre, they were experimenting with everything but at the same time i love reading about all them new weird genres hahah

Freak video is sooo Charles Manson
-
R&B stands for RHYTHM AND BLUES and blues is something completely different than jazz, but i can be wrong here

well Lana was always kinda fascinated by cult/occult stuff: Body Electric is sooo creepy actually, "Gods & Monsters" as well also "Freak", "Religion" gave me Charles Mansons vibes Lana loves being dark/creepy and i wouldn't mind LDR5 being like that - an album about madness (?), i think her albums are actually getting madder and madder: BTD - 'dark' lyrics PARADISE - creepy aura UV - lyrics even darker, music less creepy than on PARADISE but still..Flipside is kinda scary IMO HM - my mom literally said this album is good for 'killing yourself' let's wait for LDR5...
