  1. imagine that sung with her dreamy voice with some beautiful violin in the background: I've been there all night, I've been there all day, And boy, got me walkin' side to side Let them hoes know I'm talkin' to ya See you standing over there with your body Feeling like I wanna rock with your body And we don't gotta think 'bout nothin' I'm comin' at ya 'Cause I know you got a bad reputation Doesn't matter, 'cause you give me temptation And we don't gotta think 'bout nothin' I can totally sense "Wait For Life"/"Big Eyes"/"Bel Air" vibes!
  2. she should cover hallelujah like someone already said or maybe something of david bowie... space oddity maybe?
  3. no, actually she wanted to make a totally different song with him but he died before it happened so she decided to put the verse "while i sing lou reed" to brooklyn baby, at least that's what i heard!
  4. lmao i've read about that but i wasn't sure i like lorde but she shouldn't have said such things about other artists, espeically at the beginning of her career...

Matangi, AIM and Kala are my faves. I love that she used The Clash's "Straight to Hell" instrumental for "Paper Planes" even my dad is her fan lol
  6. I think she's cute with her Nina Simone's covers but I wish she'd stop tbh :/

  12. "Put Me in a Movie" "Noir" "Trash (Magic)" Young actress is seduced by the movie director. They are having an affair. The life they have is fast and glamorous but he's leaving her (for another young actress? or maybe he just wants to quit it). Then, in the last song, we can see that young actress few years later, living in the motel, working in the bar, she certainly didn't make a career, but she's still in love with the director. He visits her one day... But in the end they are not together. "Dum Dum" "Fake Diamond" "Carmen" Young Hollywood starlet is seducing another actor on set. It's 30s/40s. She's a big star, he's dating her for the fame but she's a very lonely girl, she really falls in love. The situation repeats few times with different men. In last song young actress is older but she's still kinda famous. She's into alcohol and partying, never in love, always heartbroken. "Wayamaya" "Junky Pride" "Pawn Shop Blues" Lana meets a man, he's cool looking and 'bad boy' type, everything she always wanted. He's addicted to drugs but it seems to be fun at first. They get engaged. Then things are getting harder for them, his addiction starts to be a problem. She needs to leave him because she's aspiring to be somebody while he's only thinking about drugs. In last song she's mourning after her lost lover. Yes, he was 'the best man she knew' but she needed to leave him and that's the tragic story of their love - "sometimes love is not enough".

actually my father introduced me to her music, she's amazing, my fave album is "Wounded Rhymes" :flutter: if she's going to be more pop it may be interesting, let's give her a chance! i think she's not gonna stop writing her unique 'sad lyrics', they're just gonna be more pop, i hope
  14. Summertime Sadness is a beautiful song indeed, but I am kind of sick of it because they play it everywhere (not even the original but the remix) and I met a lot of "Lana fans" who only knew this one song... remixed
  15. yassss i think lana's a big fan of them, i'd love her to make a cover of one of their songs one day!
  16. I love Mountain Dew but in a demo version with "hit me my darling tonight..." , i think it's way better than the album version :flutter: it kind of reminds me of the velvet underground style but i can totally understand why some people can hate it haha
  17. it's not strange at all! almost all of my idols are dead, i can totally understand you... i'm sending all my love and hope you'll get better soon
