I really hope that Nikki Lane has never read this forum

The album rollout hasn't started. She excitedly mentioned an upcoming album that she and Jack have been working on for several years at a music industry event while he was being honoured. It's not her fault that we're all rabid. I for one am happy to at least have confirmation that an album is nearing completion and heading our way, hopefully this year.

I am still confident that this is a classic country album. I really don't think the Quavo song is for Lasso.

I more so mean Henry as the symbol for album news lolol I agree that we probably won't get that actual track until the album. I think Lasso will be first for sure

I think Henry will be sleeping until March but then we'll start to sense a stirring

So mad at myself for not being at this show, I became a fan just a couple months too late

It's definitely possible but I feel at this point they understand what kind of artist she is and I hope they would respect her enough not to force gimmicks that aren't her. DCooper is always active

If she ever does, I'm sure it would be forced by the label, but I don't see it ever happening. That is so not her style.

Putting different bonus tracks on different vinyls is so cringe to me

It's good but sounds a bit basic. Hopefully the album has a lot more surprises in store because she's getting a bit repetitive with her sound.

How do we define somewhat reliable

I really think the Quavo song is just something new that she's excited about, but it won't end up on Lasso. I suspect the insider was just speculating hence the word might. They probably just know that they recently made the song together, and Lasso isn't fully delivered yet so anything is possible, but I am hopeful that Lasso is past the point of a change in tracklist.

I thought they said there were no covers, not no collabs, but I could be remembering wrong!

Omg this was not what I was expecting at all, it's chaotic

I love them I think the whole album is really going to flow like Renaissance and the songs will really work in context. I didn't like Break My Soul at first and now adore it. It's clear she has a strong vision for this 3 act project so I have faith this is going to be another real serve. I hate the Lexus lyric though

I mostly agree but I will make exceptions for Hey Blue Baby, I Must Be Stupid For Feeling So Happy, and Prettiest Girl in Country Music because we only have live versions, and I think all three songs are beautiful and would work so well on this album. I don't want any old leaked songs though like On Our Way, as much as I love it.
