  1. Agreed, people can complain all they want it's a discussion forum, but the rest of us are also able to roll our eyes and comment on it
  2. You're more than welcome to talk about Lana's material in any way that you please. Doesn't change the fact that it's wild to me that people complain about the same things over and over and criticize the music and direction of the album even with a snippet as gorgeous as intriguing as this one
  3. I definitely hear piano but I also hear a guitar string at one point.
  4. It's wild to me that some people can hear this snippet and complain about piano and her voice lmao. It's only a few seconds and already obvious that it's going to be stunning and fresh.
  5. It sounds like rockerfella and umbreller, she switched the endings of the words
  6. The fact that she specified that she considers this her 10th album is very exciting. 10 is special and I could actually see them finally allowing her to release digitally for a milestone like that, she's earned it.
  7. I can't stop listening to the snippet omg it sounds so rich and warm and loving but also sad and lonely and concerning HOW DOES SHE DO IT
  8. What was the exact quote when Lana said her next album would be digital? I know she's been saying she wanted to do that for a while but I don't remember her specifying that the next one would be it
  9. I can't believe we're finally moving for a real reason
  10. Omg I just listened again with headphones and I have chills. it sounds like it's gonna be an intense song, the piano has a dark weight to it and you can just hear this heavy mood in the atmosphere despite the high breathy vocals I AM SO EXCITED
  11. OMGGGGGG!!!!!! wowow it sounds beyond gorgeous and Jon Baptiste is a very unexpected and exciting addition
  12. I'm thinking this will be a country inspired album but it's going to be a jaw-dropper with jazzy and spooky undertones. I'm picturing late night country with hints of Honeymoon, Chemtrails, and Violet, and an unnerving uniqueness with some abstract storytelling, country music that the world has never seen before.
  13. Coming to this thread and reading the last few pages in reverse was an unexpected journey to say the least
  14. Ben meant nearing completion of uploading to all streaming platforms for tomorrow's surprise release
  15. Ben reading this and deciding to update us, your power
  16. The outro to Black Bathing Suit is so incredible and heartbreaking. Lyrically she's so sassy and knows she has the upper hand against her haters, but she sounds so defeated and sad, like even though she has the last laugh it's not worth all the shit that people have said about her and put her through. The production is so chaotic and fractured and those shards of glass with the lonely piano to end the song WOW a masterpiece
  17. I predict that Lana's eventual country album is what finally gets her a Grammy
  18. LOL ok manifesting for next Friday instead
  19. Lana has a big enough fanbase that she's set for life. No matter what kind of music she releases there will be people all over the world listening and enjoying.
  20. If Lana were to actually do a full country album it would be a serve and a half People get scared when they hear the word country but I'm sure Lana would channel the classics rather than cheesy country pop and she'd give it her own unique spin the way she always does. I bet her country album would be a huge critical success.
