Manifesting that Lana never listens to some of these manifestations
-
My wishful thinking is that the single is coming really soon and Lana has given the okay for teasing, hence Ben's coming soon and Rob saying that something is brewing. Within two weeks she'll announce the lead single Brewing is also an interesting word choice. He may mean nothing of it, but when I hear that I think of something ominous coming. Trouble is brewing aka Lana's angry profound masterpiece

I had another Lana dream last night. She posted the tracklist and said that the album was coming in exactly one year from today The tracklist had Aviation, Get Free (Reprise) and a song called Museum Secrets LOL

Imagine talking about another person this way
-
I went to a Lana concert in my dream last night it was so good

I don't think it's fair to say that there are literally zero similarities though. I hear Lana's influence in Ethel's music and that's not a bad thing at all, they both tap into something incredible that most artists don't reach, with an overlap in the themes they explore and the moody atmospheres. Ethel is a very different artist from Lana and much darker, so if people are saying that she's a copy they're just wrong, but to say there are zero similarities is also not true. She may be getting annoyed that Lana is constantly apart of the conversation, but it's really meant as a compliment from a lot of people I'm sure and will only help more fans discover her. No new artist has hit me as hard as Ethel since Lana.

Blue Banisters - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

Happy birthday to the 3 surprise singles! What a glorious day that was, I remember being so shocked that we were getting not one but three new songs so soon after Chemtrails was out, and then being completely blown away by the emotion and maturity of the tracks. All 3 are masterpieces and such gorgeous parts of this album. -
"We both know that it's not fashionable to love me" really is one of the greatest opening lines to any album

Thoroughfare is without a doubt one of my all time favourite songs

This is a great point. I'm not here because I love my own approach to music, I'm here because I love Lana's. She has consistently delivered complex and creative projects so I am sure we are in for another treat no matter what we get.

December release incoming

I for one am extremely intrigued by the automatic writing approach. I think we're going to get something really abstract and unhinged, an unpredictable exploration of Lana's mind without filters.
-
Wow Pitchfork really embarrassed themselves this time
-
If insiders know nothing, I wonder if that means the album is still really far away, or if we're in for more of a surprise
-
I'm feeling Black Bathing Suit mixed with Violet vibes for this album
-
Now that we have official acknowledgement of the album, it's time for a real insider to give us a little tidbit

Automatic writing as per the Encyclopedia Britannica: "writing produced involuntarily when the subject's attention is ostensibly directed elsewhere. The phenomenon may occur when the subject is in an alert waking state or in a hypnotic trance, usually during a séance." I suspect something spooky tbh

Omg I'm soo excited!! This photoshoot is a complete serve, I hope it matches the mood of the album. The creative process sounds really intriguing too, I wasn't expecting her to be angry still so I can't wait to see what she's going to explore. The voice notes approach may mean she's more willing to go into darker territory, and it also suggests more abstract writing.

Lana's giving off "I just finished a masterpiece" energy these last two weeks
