Omg fun fact - this classic Bigfoot image was taken in Del Norte County Lana's mythical monster album incoming.

I don't listen to Charli much but I drunkenly bought concert tickets a couple months ago so I figured I should give Crash a proper listen and it's really good! It's a nice mix of mainstream pop but a little bit unhinged. Makes me wanna get drunk and slutty dance LOL

Unfortunately you shouldn't expect too much from the general public
-
Haha I know the cover threw me off for a while but I got over it eventually. I would recommended only to certain people. I thought it was incredible but it depends on what kind of books you tend to read, it is extremely upsetting and devastating. So if you read a lot and are fine with super heavy subject matter, then yes I definitely recommend but proceed with caution because it is definitely very sad and disturbing. Vanishing New York looks interesting!

I just finished A Little Life, I am distraught

This thread is like a carousel lol

I knowww after a couple days I'll be patient again LOL Rob's posts just got me excited
-
I was feeling very patient for this album but now that we're discussing it again I want it immediately
-
It's true tbh. Yosemite is stunning and simple but I find it more heartbreaking than heartwarming by the end, especially given Breaking Up Slowly coming right after it. Breaking Up Slowly would lead perfectly into Dealer, and then she screams as well in Dance Til We Die so I think it all fits nicely. Anyways wrong thread #sorry
-
Dealer honestly would have fit SO well between Yosemite and Dance Til We Die Edit: NVM I forgot Breaking up Slowly was there and I love that song. Dealer could've been after Breaking up Slowly and it would have fit perfectly

It would be so funny (and adorable) if Rob's posts really were about his own debut album

Me watching people complain about Jack
-
I see what you mean but I really don't think Lana would let her work sound too much like something else Jack has done, it's always the other way around. She's a trendsetter
-
Agreed! It is so mysterious and cinematic and gorgeous. I wish they had released a double vinyl that included the instrumentals, I would listen to it all the time. That's fair we all have our opinions, but personally I find it anything but underwhelming and I highly doubt we've seen the last of their work together. At the very least, he should be back for Behind the Iron Gates because the atmosphere he added to her poetry was out of this world.

Jack's work with Lana is incredible, it's so funny to me when people complain about him. NFR, Violet, and Chemtrails are all sublime. I love Lana working with different producers, but I have no issue with him returning. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of their work together because a lot of it is some of the best she's done.

I'm honestly so grateful that Lana doesn't care at all what kind of music people want and just does whatever feels right to her. A true artist building a one-of-a-kind legacy, her music speaks for itself and continues to be overwhelmingly beautiful A bombastic album would be incredible, but her gentle music is just as good. If LDR9 is an album of piano ballads, then you better believe they will be soul-enriching piano ballads that both break and rebuild the heart

Ugh it sounds so good like just leak it ffs
