The outro to Black Bathing Suit is so incredible and heartbreaking. Lyrically she's so sassy and knows she has the upper hand against her haters, but she sounds so defeated and sad, like even though she has the last laugh it's not worth all the shit that people have said about her and put her through. The production is so chaotic and fractured and those shards of glass with the lonely piano to end the song WOW a masterpiece

I predict that Lana's eventual country album is what finally gets her a Grammy

Lana has a big enough fanbase that she's set for life. No matter what kind of music she releases there will be people all over the world listening and enjoying.

If Lana were to actually do a full country album it would be a serve and a half People get scared when they hear the word country but I'm sure Lana would channel the classics rather than cheesy country pop and she'd give it her own unique spin the way she always does. I bet her country album would be a huge critical success.

I still find Lana's stripped back music to be very cinematic. Cinematic doesn't have to mean grand production, even her simplest songs have a cinematic quality to them because of the style of her storytelling and performance. She always pulls me into a world in a way that most artists don't.

That was obviously rigged but Jinkx was the clear winner this season imo and I don't think it should come down to the final lipsync anyways so I'm happy

I totally agree that Lana is the queen of her genre and the top of the class, but Ethel Cain is definitely not a distant copy of Lana. I hear Lana's influence in her music, but Ethel Cain has absolutely built her own universe as well and is the first artist I've heard since Born To Die to knock it out of the park for me right off the bat like Lana did. She's incredible.

Preacher's Daughter is her debut album that just came out and it's absolutely mindblowing. Listen from start to finish, it's quite the journey!! Her EPs beforehand are also amazing!!

Agreed! Lana is honestly so un-problematic overall, she's clearly got such a kind heart and some of her "controversies" were just misconstrued by the public and unfairly blown up. She's just been a target for hate since she first emerged and it seems like that will follow her forever to some degree. People are too dumb and lazy to take the time to understand certain things so they just jump on the bandwagon instead.

This album is going to be a true serve, some of you just aren't ready to face the facts.
