I just wanna say, it's really hurtful that some people on this site hate that linkin park is #1 in some countries instead of Lana. Don't they realise it has nothing to do with Lana? She will inevitably end up #1 in those countries soon enough anyway... It's just like when David Bowie died, his albums made the charts again, and after the Manchester attack, Ariana got higher up in the charts. People are curious and they want to listen to the music that they associate with something tragic. It's just the way it is and there's no need to complain. Lust For Life is not losing success. And Linkin Park deserves some positive recognition right now. Thanks everyone on this thread xxx

I love the cursing in Cherry. I see it as her frustrated thoughts beneath, like both cursing at herself and the fact that she still truly gives a fuck in the feels. Also as someone who swears in my head 24/7 I can appreciate this It's so Lizzy tho! I used to not like that kind of singing from her tho, which is why i used to hate most of her unreleased songs, so I don't blame you! hahah. OMG YESSSSS

AKA- experimentation, doing whatever you like. It kind of inspires me to be as cheeky as I want and not give a fuck about anything else but my life BTD- it means so much to me because it was the first Lana album I heard and it honestly influenced me to become more diverse in my music taste. I went from being a dedicated rock/metal head to appreciating alternative pop and indie music, which I would otherwise have been a hater of tbh. Paradise - inner goddess that no matter how fucked you are, YOU RULE Ultraviolence- it allowed me to escape from the worst depressive part of my life when I was all alone, living alone in a city I hated, had no friends to see and a relationship that didn't get me. It was a fucked up heaven for me at the time to just listen to this album on repeat 24/7, right up till like 3am Honeymoon- it helped me escape from a part of life where I was just waiting, and waiting, and waiting for something to happen. It helped me dive into my own world and just come alive from within. Lust For Life- this album is going to mean everything to me because it is so eclectic like my style, with so many themes I can relate to and just OMG

LFL cause I appreciate diversity more than anything. While UV was more my style, I still got a throwback with Cherry, and we still got multiple throwbacks to BTD and HM AND AKA so really, I'm in heaven with this album's production.

I remember when Lana did an instagram live video when she heard Love playing on the radio, and before that was Garbage - Push It, which also says "don't worry baby" in the bridge

Lana ALWAYS gives me that feeling that Ive heard the song before, not in a bad way though (such as she stole someone's idea, cause never!) but in the best way possible. Like nostalgia for memories i dont even have. Also the "Isn't life crazy as heck nw that i'm singing with Sean" is fine to my ears. I didn't cringe like i expected to. I mean the song COULD do without that line, but i really dont care. I'm unphazed and this song is a strong 10/10

I don't think so. Although LP's previous albums are back in charts again, Lana's album has been more anticipated. It will not take away sales or listeners from LFL, it will only mean that Linkin Park has more listeners. no one is going to not listen to LFL and instead go to Linkin Park. They've heard all the songs before. Legends only! That's my exact view. And yeah, Stevies voice definitely isn't everyone else's cup of tea. It depends what you look for in music

I dont judge you if you dont like Stevie's voice, but by me already being a Stevie fan, I love it in this song and I think Lana's voice kinda brings out the best in Stevie's voice, especially when they sing together. I always thought Stevie's voice WAS a bit odd, but the lyrics always got through to me much more.
