Hey everyone! By contacting some people, and doing this and that, I managed to get the original, and official bootleg recording of Lorde's performance at "Splendour in the Grass". The file was raw, so I cut it, and I splitted it into tracks... I remastered the audio, made a few modifications so it's more audible.   Here you go!

I think new song bias aside, it has to be one of, if not THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, best songs she has. If Royals gets far enough it could be a monster single

It's nice to see you posting on the forum though. I take it you're lurking around to steal exclusives and then fail to give credit for them as always? 

I've always held the belief that Blue Jeans is just a more specific and detailed take on the same story told in Westbound.
 
Westbound seems to be a tale of K (a known drug dealer at this point) leaving his friends and family. He obviously didn't tell Lana where he was going, and he was probably leaving wherever the hell he was to get away from the law.
 
Blue Jeans, however, gives us a specific take. We obviously know it's about K, and the fact that he leaves to pursue money (drugs). "Then they took you away" is reference to his death/prosecution by the authorities (see - Sirens for detailed version of that story).
 
It's a bit of a stretch but they both seem to be about how K left her unexpectedly to pursue money/escape the law, and with the story told in Sirens that echoes in Blue Jeans, it sure seems like Westbound might well be about K, however generic it is.

Her version feels like it got the life sucked out of it and then got coated in pink sugar. It's mediocre and pales in comparison to Lana's. I'm really glad she didn't put it out.

I think I Need Your Love will do extremely well on radio just like Sweet Nothing did. Maybe off of that promo she can get a good amount of attention going for Explosions.

We finally get to see Charlie in a video! Only fair since Chuck has been in two.

So I guess I'm pretty well-known for my Lana album covers...I plan on making a booklet of them all for her someday but until then I might as well share them here!
