LDR6 - Pre-Pre-Release Thread

I WISH so bad that Lana would release little things on the side. I would like to see more of the cuff candid tracks like Coachella being released as singles. I really think she needs to release some unreleased tracks, that are reworked and up to par with her released discography. Maybe throw in an unleaked track as well. -

I was thinking about that the other day. So many pop artist always make a fool out of themselves, usually on social media, constantly (IE - Halsey). Lana really has stayed in her lane for the past 7 years and it's paid off, literally and figuratively. Even when she was talking about the presidential debates she stayed in her lane, and focused more on the importance of knowledge before voting. -

She looks 'bad' because her lash extensions have fallen out. Also I think her fillers are fading. No one looks good when their fillers fade. We're so spoiled by Lana, when she comes with no lashes we think she's depressed. -
x was a gross dude, and I'm not going to rejoice in his death (even though part of me does). I'm not surprised any of this happened. He was a product of his environment, and was just egged on by fans and the internet. He never had any motivation to improve himself or his life, and now it's over. Also Ari is so pretty she can make that basic ass album art look good.

I think she's letting fillers fad, and/or letting her hair grow back. I don't think she didn't botched her face, or at least I hop she didn't. -

I hate how theoretical Sean's voice sounds. He doesn't sound natural at all. I really do like how current and in the moment Coachella sounds, and I would consider it a favorite if it had stayed an one off single. I think Lust For Life (the song) was changed from being a Bladerunner-esqe song to a generic pop track so it could get radio airtime in the states. I kind of feel the same about Summer Bummer, even though I think Groupie Love sounds more radio friendly and better over all. Also I feel like When the World Was at War was thrown on there so Lana wouldn't have dragged for staying apolitical. Saying all of this; it's not like LFL isn't filled to the brim with amazing songs. One bad track doesn't makes a bad album, or even make an album unimportant. So many influence artist have entire decades of bad music, and are still considered iconic. Heroin, Change, and Get Free are land markers in her career. White Mustang and Cherry are the best true blooded pop songs she's recorded since Kinda Outta Luck and You Can Be The Boss. Love is up there with Ride, Video Games, and Shades of Cool for my favorite singles. She collaborated with Stevie Nicks on this album; STEVIE NICKS. I really don't think Lana gets the credit she deserves from music publications or websites like rateyourmusic. She's something special. tl;dr - I love Lana Del Rey -

This has become my least favorite album by Lana just because it has the first song that I genuinely hate to the point of not listening to it (tomorrow never came). I thought I liked it when I first heard it, but now Sean's vocals sound like nails on a chalkboard and that stupid 'swallow some wine' line makes me cringe into oblivion. The whole reason I discovered I hated it was because I was trying to make a video for it. I could not finish it because I was so annoyed by the song. -
I agree, the homemade version is so much more impactful and entertaining. The official version is so perfume commercial and boring. EDIT- lmaoo I thought you were talking about blue jeans. Why? I have no idea.
