Not after what she's saying recently. I'm inclined to agree with you, but as long ago as the Future Classic documentary it seems like she has more stuff planned for the near future. I mean, the old songs seem like they're dead, but she has so many new songs that would fit her ~current direction~ well. If it's any inclination, I got a copyright strike on Soundcloud for "Every Time," and given how much of her unreleased shit's still up on SoundCloud it makes me wonder if something is planned for at least that song & "Screw It Up," which I heard the same thing about. Yeah & she's signed to Future Classic, which, if Flume is any indicator, seems to be pretty cool about artists releasing stuff. Though it seems like Charli has it pretty good with Atlantic right now, if the two of them both wanted it out, it might be easier for SOPHIE to release it. Can you explain this please? Genuinely curious...because SOPHIE plays songs all the time that haven't been registered (at least on ASCAP, BMI, HFA, etc.) & I don't totally understand the logic that you're following.

If it's not No Angel, Taxi, or Girls Night Out (which I guess are all somehow possible again), then it seems like that would be the next release...as far as we know, it's new, just like 5ITM.

I think he’s saving it still, but it’s still really confusing. Of the three PC music producers, he’s weird because he’s been working with pop people for so long with one-off collabs but his projects have been so small. Three songs and a VIP in 2015, and four songs in 2017...handful of loosies and production for other acts. Just kinda weird. Songs like “friend zone” and “too close” that were seemingly perfect for release three+ years ago just stop showing up...and Up and Down is kinda like that but it still gets played so i’m really hoping it comes out. I think the Harlecore songs might be his new direction, but Up and Down would fit on a release with Blue Angel, etc. But yeah the vox are not Charli’s. It was someone else at the NYC pop 2 afterparty. SAME LONELYHEART. I heard the original song in a bar last night and got so sad, such an amazing cover and she said it was gonna be on super ultra UGH “you fuckin’ little bitches”

wow, another Basside fan! hahahah. It was actually really good, they had a ton of energy. They're so cute. They did the five songs on their EP and all the SOPHIE collabs we've heard in SOPHIE's sets. They opened with the SOPHIE "NYC 2 MIA" remix and did "Me and My Boo," "Fuck It Up," "Crazy Expensive," and the new ones "I Wanna Take You Home" and "Swipe." I'm not totally sure those last two are SOPHIE productions, but it sounded like it. Granted, they didn't say any of the titles that I can remember...so I'm not even sure "Fuck It Up" is called that, lmao. And even though the SOPHIE album dropped during their show (because it started at 11:30pm), they didn't even mention her. So...I hope there's some kind of release coming, but I have no idea. They didn't say anything about it. I wanted to ask Linda (the one who has writing credits on their songs) about whether they were on "90 on the Freeway," but it was really awkward & I didn't feel like talking to them after...she sold me a shirt but my Venmo was being weird so it was just a lot of yelling back & forth in the middle of this weird bar in like...East Williamsburg. oh, and i'll upload my audio soon! it's from the (shitty) videos I took, so it's in mono but it honestly sounds pretty good to me.
