maybe the reason she doesn’t want to release taxi is because it doesn’t reflect how she wants to be seen as an artist. it’s like that Complex article that came after Pop 2....obviously to her fans we don’t see taxi, etc. as “juvenile,” but they don’t fit her current direction at all. same with CTMP (which i love) and Good Girls (which i also love)...she knows everyone’s obsessed with those three year old songs, even though she’s moved on a LONG ass time ago. if she wanted them out, they would be. lmao.

i’m sure she’s dying to put out a love song with personal details (like his birthday) in the lyrics about her ex. DYING. I bet that’s why she’s never even sung over it live! (obviously A. G. has played it before at sets where she’s been present but lyrically it’s so obviously personal that I wouldn’t be shocked if it doesn’t get released...idk. most of her songs are just so vague or generic lyrically that i think P4U might be special to her. or maybe not. )

I get what you mean, but she gets really upset when people ask about leaked songs. Like in the EW interview after Pop 2–she basically said she still couldn’t even talk about the leaks because they made her so upset. So I don’t think she’s dying to answer those questions even if they’re asked, and maybe if interviewers do ask about leaks or unreleased stuff they just edit it out later so it’s less awkward. Also, I honestly wonder if she knows what songs have or haven’t leaked at this point. Awhile ago she played off the “Reflecting” leak pretty non-chalantly, but I feel like unless Atlantic sends her a list of what they’ve taken down on Soundcloud she has no idea which unreleased songs have or haven’t leaked. lol.
