I think the Cass Lowe stuff is probably a mix of the two...but it's also interesting that she seems to like working with Stargate, who are obviously pop. The line isn't clear between commercial vs. not commercial when Bloodpop (who she's been working with for five years) is also writing hits for Justin Bieber. Same for Stargate, who did most of the XCX3 songs...I know people talk about how good they are because of SOPHIE, but it honestly sounds like SOPHIE just added a few production elements (especially drums) after Stargate & Charli & Bloodpop wrote the initial songs. (except Good Girls and Bounce and GNO, obviously).

Not wanting to go into it too deep here, but what about their involvement Finn Diesel, who's openly gay? He was their creative director for awhile, and it seems like they are all still friendly. Danny is friends with / has worked with Superfruit, as well as MNEK—and had Kim Chi in the Me4U video. Dorian Electra is non-binary...I can’t find it in an interview atm, but I’m pretty sure she identifies as queer. When SOPHIE put out IOTC, she received a bunch of support from pretty much the entire label on Twitter. Additionally, A. G. has collaborated with Father (and the tracks are supposed to come out, but haven't yet). And, if you're including Mykki, might as well include the mixtape collabs with Starrah (who is Black & queer), Cupcakke, and Abra. Danny's worked with Tkay Maidza as well. Obviously, the actual roster of the label is all white, but they are not not supporting LGBTQ+ and POC artists. I think only more collaborations will continue to happen as A. G. & co. gain traction, largely thanks to Charli's exposure.

Didn't like four versions of it leak already?? Jesse St. John collab would be really interesting, his stuff with Charli / Liz / Brooke Candy / etc. is always solid.

Lol when Brooke came out in NYC i think i was one of like five people who knew “don’t touch my hair,” it was so funny. the crowd was just dead for a couple minutes. I think most people knew “I Don’t Want It At All” & CupcakKe’s songs, though.

My boyfriend met her at the Charli afterparty! Apparently she was really sweet, i was so glad she came to the show.

uhhhhhh it’s totally fine, Charli has always worked with non-PC music producers alongside them (like Babygirl) & it turn out great. And she’s probably not gonna have either of them working on the album at all, so might as well get used to it.
