QT stuff is probably more complicated...not to mention SOPHIE’s involved, so it’s not totally a PC project. No excuse for LG&CP, i’m so sad we don’t have it yet. We did get Never Thought, though, which people had wanted forever and is amazing! And A. G.’s songs in HQ were really nice, as well as LLL. Thought we’d never get to actually hear it. Oh, and Dance Floor, arguably PC’s best song yet. :creep:

Yeah i think she might have heard of SOPHIE through LIZ when they were touring together b/c she cancelled the tour & started working with SOPHIE, and i think A. G. did the Doing It Remix right when they were first meeting eachother. Cassie where do you get July 2014 for Vroom Vroom from???

honestly that kinda makes sense, it didn't sound that much like LIZ anyway...weird that people get so into it, lol. I don't think they're that good friends if Charli didn't ask her to be on Pop 2 & it does seem (all in all) that Charli kinda got connected to SOPHIE & later the PC crew after LIZ did and then kinda rode the way better than LIZ was able to. Also Tyni is like slowly gaining traction--SOPHIE did a remix for her as "Tiny Dancer" like five years ago.

yeah but N1A has Babygirl (which is older than most & NOT a PC track), Roll With Me (also older, lol) & Drugs, which A. G. said was being worked on b4 the rest of it. Also, Emotional is probably either from 2012 or 2014 originally...so the songs are all over the place. Also BIOYL might be 2015, honestly, if it’s just Stargate on the original...and Femmebot was demoed in 2016, and OOMH was played in July. So even if the tape was conceived across just a few months some of the songs on POP2 were around for a lot longer.

I really want her to work with SOPHIE. I think her vocals would work amazingly over SOPHIE production, and as she's been less and less dependent on her guitar, it would be a great time to do it. Since SOPHIE is literally down to collaborate with anyone I feel like their stuff would work out pretty organically.

Dude idk, i’m really torn. Wouldn’t rule out there being two versions, but since they say that as of the time of writing Stargate x SOPHIE had done every song but one for the album & mention CTMP specifically, it seems logical. I’m guessing No Angel was added shortly after they interviewed her? @@Golden any wisdom to share? lol.

Also, the article from June of 2016 has lyrics from CTMP & Good Girls, so I'm guessing the whole thing must've been close to done at that point--maybe "Waterfall" is a little newer? A "singles compilation." From what I remember / have gleaned online, it seems she was pretty adamant about that for the duration of her time signed to Numbers. It seemed like a very specific record deal, and if you look back on the releases it makes sense. Two songs each time, four releases in total = an eight song release.

If it's anything like Product (which SOPHIE insists wasn't an album, but was as close as we've got), there will be at least one more single first...and the last three singles have been ~2 months apart each time.

"This Is the Moment." The version we have is allegedly 2015, Bloodpop x Stargate...and there's a SOPHIE version as well. I'm sure they have a bunch more stuff together, though, if they've been friends since "Grins." No release date yet, but I'm sure they've worked together kinda recently. We have no idea how much they did from the OOMH sessions with A. G. & ALMA, and she's been in L.A. for forever...where SOPHIE lives. SOPHIE has been traveling a lot as well, for sure, but I bet you they've done stuff within the last six months. SOPHIE does so much with instrumentals that I'm guessing she works on the road a ton.
