It's gorgeous in its own way. It's very unique, and though I myself used to hate it, it's one of my all-time Sky faves now.

I am so excited! I might even be more excited for this than for Sky's and Charli's..... I'm very, very interested to hear the ways they've 'branched out.' A rap feature? Talk about a new direction. But Dave Sitek has worked on all three records so far, so I think he must add some consistency. And there's a deluxe edition - no Show Your Bones situation. This is one of the most nasty things I've ever seen. -_- I can't believe this is the art they have to have chosen....if it doesn't make Pitchfork's "worst album covers" of 2013 contest, nothing will.

She was so funny in Pitch Perfect, and her singing "Since U Been Gone" on the soundtrack....mmmm. :3 It really made me chuckle that she was singing songs (or at least "S&M") that she herself had written, and that most people watching the movie wouldn't even know that.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone (or any fan) have any idea what the tracklisting for that album eould have been? I know there is that fake one circulating, with "Cherry Bomb," "Cobra," "On the Wire," "First Base," and more songs from that timeframe, but how much does anyone really know about the material she produced? O _ O

It was a digital watermark, so the files sound untouched. However, it said April 2012--she wanted to take more time finishing it up. However, Owl and I think April of this year sounds about right.

"Pretty Green" by Santigold [prod. by Mark Ronson]

Was doing some reading on Rick Nowels' work with Lykke Li, and turns out he's apparently been working with Charli too! Here's an article where a publication confirms this. I am sure MNEK will appear there, seeing as they've been friends since she was 16 and they have over a dozen songs together already, but most of the others on the list I haven't noticed before. Of course, Dev Hynes/Blood Orange did that song on the mixtape with her, and then they remixed "You're the One..." I just don't enjoy the idea of their musics mixing. Ariel I approve: the songs he's done with Charli that we've already heard are all masterpieces. I wonder if Matt Squire's songs will make the album. I had a bizarre dream last night where I met Charli in person and she hated me, and told me that we'd never hear either of them, but I really hope we do. "Dirty Love" was a disappointment for me, but his sizable discography gives me hope that these two might still be great.

Lana a great example of this - first with "Dangerous Girl," then "Prom Song (Gone Wrong)." Honestly--and this probably isn't the most prudent time to say this--I hope more stuff of Charli's appears like this. Not her new music, but some of the two dozen or so old songs she had on her MySpace...I'm beginning to worry we'll never hear them. Same goes for live videos--there used to be a ton up on YouTube, but they've all been taken down. I hope this doesn't get spread....hopefully this person will realize their error as soon as possible, and take the link down. And yep, to my knowledge this is the first leak! Of course, "I Like You" got posted for the first time on SoundCloud a couple weeks back, but almost everyone who cared already had it and it was on MySpace in 2008/9. Yeah, I watched as more and more people started scrobbling them. :/ It happened pretty fast. Oh, really! I've wondered about Animal for a long time. I mean, I've known about him forever, but I've never had someone explain to me his past escapades....I know (as does just about everyone else) about all them Sky/Neon/Charli/Kerli/Lolene/Little Boots/every other musician songs he has, and though I occasionally envy his collection, I know it's for the best those songs aren't getting out.

I was thinking...maybe Animal (a.k.a. imsountouchable)? But then again, he seems to be quite trustworthy when it comes to songs. Perhaps the annoying runner of that Charli blog? Or Amfunny? Hmmmm....there's one more person I know of that had it who might have been moved to leak, accidentally or not, but I don't know enough about him/her to assume so yet.

Sadly, several more people than I had originally thought had it before the leaking. Not many, and I thought they could at least wait to share until the album was out, but looks like something went wrong somewhere. Definitely feels like a mistake to me too.... Yup. -_- More than just "kinda..." I can scarcely imagine a more disrespectful situation if I tried. Now, now. Obviously, the member did everything in their power to fix their error, so it would be best for us all to forgive quickly. Not saying that this negates the wrong, but it's pointless to keep accusing forever, especially when it's not the person getting the blame who is responsible. What's done has been done. To my knowledge, there is another sampler, or at least something similar to one, but it has not been circulated to the extent this one has before leaking.

Neon Hitch has been on the "brink" of finally breaking through since 2007, and I'm seriously getting FED UP of the wait. I mean, come on!!!! How many record deals does she have to go through before she finally makes some music she's willing to release?!!! The few songs we have are really good, but the fact that we've been waiting 5+ years for an album that isn't materializing has definitely turned off many potential fans. At least we're FINALLY getting an EP this month. So freakin' random! No promo, of course, but "Gold" just got to the top of some Dance-related Billboard chart, so maybe she'll chart with it.

I'm so honored to be considered by you two! I'm writing my application for LDR right now...crossing my fingers it will convince him of my merit. Also, regardless of whether I get my wish granted 2 be moderator, I would love if TPD and/or Ataraxia became moderators too. They both add something unique to this forum, and I def. think they could handle the additional mod responsibilities.

I agree with you 'bout the video...it's better than I had hoped! I am so excited for the remixes... And yup, the majority of her artwork grates on me, quite a bit. A friend of mine who's tight with me assures me it won't be this Spring. I think they do, as a general rule, but Marina's label situation is quite different. Charli doesn't appear to be affiliated with 679 yet, though, so we'll just have to see. Sooo good. This song better at least be a b-side. I don't know why she had to give up "I Love It," but this one is a masterpiece too. WHAT?!?!? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( I didn't! I still have contact with the guy, and I'm planning on contacting him again after my Finals are over this month, but it's quite discouraging that it's down. That was by far the oldest video we had still up, and nobody seems to have saved any of them. X( All the people we could ask about them either are completely gone or ignore us...Daisy, Charli, MNEK, random YouTube and MySpace people...hope we get some good news pertaining to the past soon. Speaking of "past," I found out about another song she did with Matt Squire, probably in 2010; "Supernova."

Yes, and Instagram. Excited for the instrumental! Not that it's that different from Gold Panda's original, but still. And a MS MR remix? That is something to look forward to. I can barely imagine how they would pull it off. Oh, but Born To Die - Owl told me that Charli told a friend of his that "How Can I" will make the record! Fits with the "second sampler" theory...if only we had "Lonely Jaguar."

Completely with this do I agree. She wouldn't have had the same "Indie Girl Turned Pop Sensation/Fraud" status, and would be making music that would be appreciated by a very different audience than it is now.

I rieterate: The blog that leaked the song is the only reason why anyone even thinks it was intended for release. There is no evidence ir "receipts" that it would have been on the EP, so don't think it was. "Paradise" was recorded in early 2011. It's still a great song, and I prefer it to any of the ones from the PE I've heard, but it's in a completely different level of lyrics, theme, and production.

Bebo? I never even knew it existed until I started to look for some old music on it...it stopped being used before Myspace did, right?
