It might be only me but the 'fuck' before the cherry chorus sounds cool to me. Kids were having fun & it got out of hand. They filled more than 10-20 pages with sparkle text just to reach 2k pages before the album drops.

Do you guys think she would release any new music video now that the release is almost here? (I'm saying because she didn't hint anything as such in her interviews so is it likely of her to drop a mv after the release?)

I think what @Creyk was tryna say is that s/he doesn't prefer random rappers in a Lana Del Rey song. Lana rapping and doing hip-hop is a completely different thing bc it's her own song and nobody does it like her. Just saying.

I used to do that for her music videos during the paradise era. I would not do it this time with the LP because I'm afraid it would sky rocket my expectations & leave me disappointed. (that's what happens when you start to compare new stuff with older stuff) Anyway don't worry about 'From The End' & all those EPs. Lana doesn't count them as official releases. Start with AKA or BTD.

I've waited for this so long & now I don't understand why but I'm reading all the snippet reviews & asked I've my sister to listen to it first but I just can't gather the courage to sit down and listen to it myself. It's really weird.

All we're getting are 16 tracks now. That was an old interview & some tracks didn't make it up to the final tracklist including (Yosemite & Best American Record).

That's not something I'm very excited about. I see that she's just not very good with collaborations. All the three collabs from LFL have been meh. She's better off singing autobiographical songs - solo. If that song turns out to be about healing the masses like they were talking in the interview then I'm done

She also did a project with a lotta tracks with Miles Kane, pupper, but she don't wanna release it under her name She also worked with a couple more people she didn't name & she doesn't want those songs to be released

yeah, people might have assumed it to be a paradise-esque track because of the title & it turned out to sound like something else.. but overall it was still good. there have been some pretty bad assumptions in the past here.

What if we overestimate Yosemite and it ends up being the worst track on the record? life can be so meaninglessly funny sometimes

They think it's the Velvet Underground 'heroin' cover but it's a pretty serious & dark song about a druggy and from a man's perspective (I mean the pronouns used). "When I put a spike into my vein And I tell you things aren't quite the same When I'm rushing on my run And I feel just like Jesus' son" Plus we know that 'World Was At War..' is the darkest track on the LP. Lana has never been a drug addict so maybe she's talking bout her man or how he's as addictive as heroin to her. That would make sense coming from Lana.
