Just listen again & notice the production in this track. Yes, Change was terrible but it was because the lyrics were cheesy. Atleast Rick put effort in layering & all.

I don't want Jack Antanoff anywhere near Lana after this track. The lyrics are so beautiful & the song had so much potential but the production is sooooo bland & uninspired... Sounds almost like an acapella. Imagine if Rick Nowels, Emile Haynes or Dan Heath had produced this... Someone please do an edit with real instruments in it.

Why didn't I hear any production in the snippet? Was it an acoustic demo? A song as elegant like Sylvia deserves Emile Haynes lush strings & Rick's instrumentalisation. If Jack Antanoff turns this into a basic ballad with basic production, I'm gonna cut a bitch.

I would have loved Venice Bitch 10x more if it was only 4:45 minutes long. The point where her vocals stop. The perfect "o-wawawawawawhatever... everything's whatever" with that psychedelic guitar part could have easily been wrapped up smoothly in 4:45 minutes. 5 minutes only for showing off Antanoff's instrumental skills, ain't IT, when Lana's part ends in 3:35 minutes. Those extra calories make the song obese.
