  1. A mini-documentary would be amazing, you should totally do that! There's so much you could discuss because her impact extends to so many different areas!

I think I'm gonna do some more research and collect my thoughts. There are so many things I want to do with Lana *wow that sounds wrong :creep: * I just don't know what to write about! :toofunny:

  2. I was looking at a few old videos and articles about how fake Lana was because of her look, and how vapid and melodramatic her music was. It made me think about how much I loved her fake beauty queen look. I loved her puffy (fake) lips in video games, and how dramatic and over produced BtD was and how dramatic the MV's where. I loved how in the Ride video she was playing a girl that hitchhikes and hangs around at truck stops and sings at sleazy bars, all while looking glam. When I was 13 and I found out who she was, I thought I had found my artistic soul mate.  I started painting my nails red and over lining my lips. I wore mini dresses and skirts all the time (even in winter lmao). I remeber telling everyone at school about her. And you know when I look at pics of Lana from 2011-2013 I get the same magically feeling I did when I first saw them, but that's how I feel everytime I look at anyone I consider a beauty icon. Lana also showed me how far being yourself can get you (I know that's super fucking corny).

    GIRL SAME!

The reason why I was so drawn to her was that I connected with her so deeply, and I still do! I also find it funny that Lana and I have the same personality type INFP and we have the same Chinese zodiac (Ox) and I find it beautiful how we have very similar traits!

  3. YES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE! She brought back a lot of trends; like flower-crowns (I am still convinced that standard flower-crown Snapchat filter was made because of her); cinematic music video projects (like Tropico); and her whole general aesthetic. I'm aware she didn't necessarily "invent" these things but she definitely brought them into the spotlight. She never gets recognised for it though!

You know how people always say fillers became "trendy" because of Kylie Jenner? Well I have a theory she was influenced by Lana because she was a fan of Lana before she (Kylie) got her new lips lmao  :yesnod:

I can literally see Lana's influence within most popular things though so I don't know if I am actually just insane or what?

I feel the same thing!  This is why I feel like later on down the road, Lana will be recognized as a LEGEND!

I remember I started writing an essay for English class about Lana's influence on music. I didn't finish it because I later dropped the course. I'm considering finishing the essay and make a mini-documentary lol

  4. Sometimes I think Lana is responsible for all of the slow, moody music in alt. pop and pop music today.

I felt like I noticed a shift in 2012/2013 in terms of pop stars image and music. Like everyone was suddenly making these "cinematic" music videos that were all dramatic and some had toned down their bright and poppy image and the music starts becoming "serious" and slowed down A LOT.

Idk these are some things off the top of my head, just a thought.

  5. When I was 15 I had a dream that Lana had died by overdose and she was found in a hotel.

I remember I woke up on the verge of crying. I ran to the computer in my mom's room and googled her name just make sure nothing bad had actually happened.

    :(

  6. The last Lana song I listened to in 2017 was Salvatore. My concert date is in 12 days so I'm gonna not listen to her at all this week, then listen to her every day leading up to the concert to get hype!

What are some of your resolutions? Here are mine

-Study hard & maintain my high GPA

-Get an internship for a brand or publication

-Rebrand my social media to expand my marketing portfolio (it would be cool to become an influencer, it'd be impressive to employers to demonstrate an ability to brand to create a following)

    -Write more & write better

    -Expand my wardrobe

-Not bothering myself with the affairs of locals

    -Network

    -Eat better

-Not settle for anything less than what I want and deserve

    :hooker:

I love how we have almost the exact same goals *except I don't have a high GPA to maintain :toofunny: *

  7. Lana Del Rey has always inspired me since I was 14 to write and pursue a music career.

I wanna go sing at resturaunts and bars and stuff, but I don't know how to get started I also have no connections and oh, like I have

    N O  T A L E N T.

    :toofunny:

  8.

I think I am the only one ever to say that Dan Heath is my favourite Lana producer but here's why:

    • He does the DH remix of West Coast + the DH Orchestral version for Young & Beautiful which are FLAWLESS
    • He produced Blue Jeans which was the first Lana song I became obsessed with
    • He did the National Anthem strings which are genius and iconic
    • He did the strings in Ride and Gods & Monsters which are even MORE GENIUS AND ICONIC
    • He did Yayo and Bel Air which are her most heavenly songs
    • He did the orchestrual intro to 13 Beaches, the REAL start of the LFL album
    • He produced Ultraviolence (song) and Fucked My Way Up To The Top which are my favourite song productions on that album
    • HE DID LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL and ONCE UPON A DREAM
    • DAN HEATH IS JESUS???????

Can she just work with him from now on...on like everything?

  9. Cause I didn't know the song had an official release and because I meant by Gaga. Should've used two :rip:. :creep:

Oh no, I said why as in: "Why did Rob Fusari do that?" My bad.
