Omg I remember one time I had a dream that Lana and Kurt Cobain were on a movie set. She sat on Kurt's lap, but it seemed as if it was a sad scene, and Kurt was reassuring her that everything would be all right because they were going to make it out stronger than ever.

I'm so late lol. My bad.
But yeah in 2013 around her birthday I had dream she had killed herself by overdosing in some fancy hotel. I woke up and I was so worried for most of the day because back then I shared my laptop with my brother and I didn't have it until he left work at 6 o clock and boy did the anticipation KILL ME.
I googled her name and my baby was and sound and safe.

OK FOR REAL THO, in 2013, before I even knew that the 27 club was a thing, I had a dream that Lana died in a tragic fire in her hotel room on the night before her 28th birthday and I was SO relieved when I woke up and realised it was a dream. (ive posted this in the dreams thread a while back)

Yeah I don't think the halftime show would go well, but I'd love to see her perform the national anthem, but actually sing National Anthem instead.
*The audience stands, holding their hand over their hearts, ready to hear our country's beautiful anthem.*
Lana: "Money is the anthem of success, so before we go out, what's your address?"
Lana stans, all in flower crowns, in unison: "I'M YOUR NATIONAL ANTHEM, GOD YOU'RE SO HANDSOME TAKE ME TO THE HAMPTOMS BUGATTI VEYRON."

She'd have to pull a BTD. She'd sit her ass in a chair, have the most amazing CGI EVER! & Have tigers & dance all around her picking her up & moving her around with costume changes. The moment she gets up it flops cause she won't do a star studded dance. She'd bring out her dancers & do what she does best on lust for life
That's what I was thinking. If Lana would ever do that, she would have to do songs ONLY from Born To Die that are upbeat? and just try to have a beautiful stage presence, unless Lana takes intensive dance classes and kill us all but hey, a girl can dream.
*But nah imagine the backlash omg*

Cherry, GBA, World At War, TNC, Heroin and Get Free are the only interesting melodies on the album. Change, WM and SB are the worst of them all
True. I'm not used to liking only a handful of songs from a Lana Del Rey album, I usually enjoy all of the tracks.

I just want her to give us great, CONSISTENT visuals and concept, and I really wouldn't mind the witchy or magical girl vibes.

She's so unpredictable, i had no idea she would go for something witchy or political during Honeymoon. Truly a legend.

But no, I agree. I was actually kind of excited with the whole witchy elements she displayed at first, I don't get why she changed it since she didn't seem to back down from her stance or whatever.

Honestly, I feel like the melodies *I think that's the right term* for the last two records are kind of lazy. I dunno, they aren't as "interesting" as the previous records.
Like compare Born To Die, West Coast, Dark Paradise, Ultraviolence to Change, Get Free or whatever.
I mean it's mainly L4L, Honeymoon isn't really bad about this.

yea I'm kinda worried about the next album because I feel like she's conformed to more of a mainstream sound (not that there weren't any great songs on LFL, but the majority i feel were lacking). Especially given the fact that LFL has come "full circle" from BTD, there's no hints as to what she's gonna do next
I'm already anticipating what she would do next, to be honest, but you know sometimes I'm worried and excited at the same time.

Yeah I wish she would go back to it. I just don't know what she's gonna do from here.
I miss BTD,Paradise and UV so much because I loved the production and the melodies of the songs, I feel like the melodies have gotten really stagnant and lazy for the past few albums.
Well at least with L4L, Honeymoon was kind of better.

I just realized that usually the first songs that Lana writes for an album are the better ones as opposed to the last ones that she writes for an album.
Do you mean the songs that she writes first and then scraps later on?

I hope Lana realizes (I think she does) how powerful and impactful her journey has been -- SHE did not Listen to the critics... the haters... and now she's selling out huge arenas, it is great (everyone criticizing her musical tones and now she is ON TOP)
That being said (I felt LFL was almost a record for the 'Critics' and I wonder if shell go back to the style we all fell in love with)
Honestly, I don't feel like she will return to that style of music again. Would be nice though.
