Divisive Princess

Well we know that she's friends with at least Ariana and Beyonce. I do think her choice of names was on purpose, but not for the reason everyone is saying it is. I'm not going to get into everything she said, but it's clear that she's not dragging anyone down. I read it as more of a solidarity thing. The problem is that the fans of the people she named are missing the point and are mad at Lana for "attacking" their fave. I would love to see Ariana or whoever else stick up for her. Again, people are forgetting that Lana is friends with some of these people and her intentions aren't to insult them. Either way, there were some other things wrong with her letter, and this isn't going to end well for her. There are already people on Twitter writing racial think pieces... You can't be racist towards white people.

Jesus Christ.... can she live?? There are how many singers that don't have a charity and you're putting this on her? And already deciding how she should run this charity and assuming it would do her good when you've never actually met her? I just don't understand the point of putting so much unnecessary pressure on her, especially during a pandemic. I am not someone to defend Lana's every move, but this just seems like a little much at this point.

Oof I didn't even know Lana and Harvey had ANY relationship whatsoever and that pictures of them existed. It looks like based on when they were taken, I had no idea who Harvey Weinstein was, but I hate the thought of her being associated with him at ALL. I thought Cola was the extent of it.

I hate to say this because I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I am SO disappointed after seeing her at Jones Beach. I thought I was gonna cry each time a 7 year old song started. That was my 6th time seeing her, and not much has changed since the first time in 2015. She called it the "NFR!" tour and was saying things like "I can't wait to perform the album for you guys" and she plays 4 songs, 2 of which are Bartender and Doin Time (this is just a personal thing lmao). Just so, so disappointed. And if she adds the songs to the setlist later, then that's good for everyone else, but I'll be even MORE pissed tbh.
